Newly renovated, and modernly furnished, the 4 star Ramada Hotel La Palma au Lac in Locarno, Lake Maggiore is just 3 minutes on foot from the famous Piazza Grande square, and the city center.
Guests coming to the Ramada Hotel La Palma au Lac usually appreciate, apart from the mild Mediterranean climate of Locarno and the numerous cultural and historical attractions the many hotel facilities, such as the Spa/wellness area with steam bath, sauna, solarium and fitness room.

By car
Take the A2 highway, and get off at Bellinzona Süd heading for Locarno. Cross the Magadino plateau, and continue towards Locarno A13. After about 9.5 miles/15 km you will arrive to the hotel.
By train
From Locarno train station: Ramada Hotel La Palma au Lac is about 0.3 miles/500 meters away. Go towards the lake, and then to the Lido.
By airplane
From the Milano Malpensa Airport (Italy): a shuttle bus to Bellinzona is running every hour. From there, take the Bellinzona-Locarno train, running every 25 minutes.
From the Agno Airport (lug): take a taxi to Locarno (the ride costs about CHF 150.00), or take the shuttle bus to Lugano train station. From there, you have to get to Bellinzona, and get on the train to Locarno.
