Bauer Il Palazzo, intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Venice, is a truly authentic, Venetian-style building, overlooking the Grand Canal, with a stunning Gothic facade, lavish decor and furnishings designed for comfort.
The property is conveniently located just few steps from St Mark's Square, close to city's finest shops, museums and sights.
A private boat landing on the Grand Canal, esures the outmost comfort for guests whom, on arrival will be greeted by the hotel's sumptuous lobby, decorated with wood panelling and antique veneered Venetian walls.

The hotel offers 35 luxurious rooms and 40 junior suites and suites, most with canal view or overlooking the city of Venice and St Mark's Basin.
Each room is unique and individually decorated, lavishly appointed with fine antique furnishings or reproductions of original Venetian fabrics from Rubelli & Bevilacqua and Murano glass chandeliers by Seguso & Cenedese.
Many of the guest rooms and suites have a balcony or terrace, and all feature air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, PC outlet, Internet Access, CD player, private fax machine, mini bar, walk-in closet and safety-deposit box.
Bathrooms are decorated in Italian marble and some have whirlpools. Non-smoking, ecological and connecting accommodations are available on request.

The hotel is easily reachable from Piazzale Roma, where guests can leave their cars. From Piazzale Roma, the hotel is 45 minutes by vaporetto line 1, stop San Marco-Vallaresso. The hotel can also be reached in about 15 minutes with a private water taxi.
By train
The hotel is 45 minutes by vaporetto line 1, from the Santa Lucia railway station.
By airplane
The Venice airport can be reached in 40 minutes by water taxi or in about one hour with the Alilaguna hydrofoil service.
