The BlueBay Villas Doradas is an all-inclusive beach resort that was completely restored in 2006, reserved for adults only. Travelling along the North coast is easy as the main highway runs parallel to the ocean, with good roads for most of the stretch.
By coach
Metro and Caribe Tours buses from Santo Domingo and Santiago reach Puerto Plata several times during the day.
By airplane
From Gregorio Luperon International Airport, you can take a taxi to Puerto Plata. The ride costs about US$28.00.
