Arriving from the north take the Brenner motorway, the Jaufen/Giovo Pass or the Reschen/Resia Pass.
Arriving from the south, the most convenient way is on the motorway A22 Modena-Brenner; take the exit Bozen-Süd and head for Meran.

By train
From the Bozen railway station there are daily connections to the Meran station (about 23 km away).

By airplane
The nearest airports are: Bozen/Bolzano (30 km from Meran), Verona (180 km from Meran).
