双人间 There are 3 room types at the Velvet Hotel, each with their own feel and personality. The 13 Velvet King Rooms measure a cosy 200 sq. ft/20 sq. m. and include king or over-sized king beds, en suite bathrooms with designer toiletries, high-quality bed linen and soft furnishings. Each room also has an iPod docking station, mini bar, digital TV, free wireless internet access and more bespoke amenities.

The 3 Velvet Balcony King rooms are slightly larger, measuring 275 sq. ft/25.5 sq. m., and also come with king or over-sized king beds, en suite bathrooms with deluxe toiletries and the same range of luxury amenities as the Velvet King Rooms. What makes this rooms stand out, however, is the fact that they overlook Canal Street and enjoy pleasant views of the canal.

The most luxurious rooms are the 3 Penthouse Suites, the real jewels in the Velvet Hotel's crown. Each one is least 285 sq. ft/26.5 sq. m. in size and comes with all of the latest luxuries. A mezzanine level is home to the over-sized king beds, making enough space for a living and dining room below, which can be used for working or entertaining. 如何到达 Velvet Hotel

By car
From the south: follow the M6 Motorway and exit at Junction 19 after Knutsford Services. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A556 towards Manchester Airport. At the roundabout at the end of the A556, take the 2nd exit onto the M56 heading towards Manchester Airport. At the end of the M56 motorway, the road turns into the A5103 Princess Parkway. Stay on this road and keep heading towards Manchester City Centre. Pass the ASDA supermarket on the left-hand side and then at the roundabout take the 3rd exit up onto the A57 Mancunian Way, which should be sign posted Stockport/Sheffield. Exit the A57 at the A6 turn off and take a sharp left, following the signs for the University of Manchester (keep in right-hand side lane). Go up to the traffic lights and go straight through onto Sackville Street. Follow Sackville Street, cross over Canal Street and then take the first right onto Richmond Street. The Velvet Hotel is located at the top of the street on the right-hand side.
From the west: follow M62 Motorway towards Manchester. Stay on the M62 as it changes into the M602. Take the M602 until the end where it turns into the A57, heading towards Manchester City Centre/Sheffield. Go up onto the A57 Mancunian Way which would be sign posted Stockport/Sheffield and follow the directions above.
From the north: follow the M6 Motorway or the M62 and head towards the M60 Motorway. As you merge onto the M60 Motorway, keep heading towards signs for Liverpool/M62. Exit the M60 for the M602 heading towards Manchester City Centre and Salford. Take the M602 until the end, where it turns into the A57 heading towards Manchester City Centre/Sheffield. Go up onto the A57 Mancunian Way which would be sign posted Stockport/Sheffield and follow the directions above.
From the east: from the M1 Motorway or Sheffield, head for the A629, A616 or the A628. Take the Woodhead Pass and keep following the signs for Manchester. At the end of the Woodhead Pass follow the signs for Manchester City and enter the M67 heading towards the city. At the end of the M67 follow the signs for the A57 Manchester City Centre. Near the end of the A57 cross over the roundabout and follow signs for the city, keeping Esso Petrol Station and Tesco Express on your left-hand side. Go straight on at the next 2 sets of traffic lights and pass under the Mancunian Way. At the next traffic lights, turn left onto Whitworth Street. Go through the first traffic lights and pass Sackville Park on the right-hand side. At the next traffic lights, turn right into Sackville Street and follow the directions above.

By airplane
From Manchester Airport (MAN): exit the airport and take the M56 Motorway. keep in the right-hand side lane and follow signs for Manchester City Centre. At the end of the M56 Motorway, the road turns into the A5103 Princess Parkway. From here, follow the directions above from the south.
