From Hauptbahnhof Köln main train station and U-Bahn underground station, take U16 or U18 underground line in direction of Klettenbergpark. Get off at Neumarkt station and change to tram line 1 or 7 (direction Weiden) which you have to leave at Rudolfplatz. Get out of the station via Hohenstaufenring exit. Walk towards Zülpicher Platz for about 800 meters, where you will find the Lindenstraße on your right side. Follow it for 50 meters and turn right into Engelbertstraße. The Meininger City Hostel & Hotel Cologne lies after 50 meters on your left hand-side. Alternatively you may also take a taxi. The taxi ride takes about 10 minutes.

By airplane
From Köln-Bonn airport (CGN), take the S-Bahn express train 13 to Hansaring. Change to the U15 underground line (heading for Köln Übierring) or to U12 (direction of Zollstock) and get off at Rudolfplatz. Get out of the station via Hohenstaufenring exit.
