Hotel La Sole Meunière is ideally situated in the heart of Calais, northern France, in the liveliest quarter in town, near the beach and its famous lighthouse. The hotel reputation besides from having a sympathetic staff and comfortable rooms comes also from its famous gourmet restaurant.
While you are in Calais, don't forget to go and visit the Museum of World Word II, the Museum of Arts and Laces or admire Auguste Rodin's famous sculpture Les Bourgeois de Calais in front of the Town Hall.
For a relaxing trip, go for a walk on the sea walls and watch the typical beach cabins, or visit the lighthouse. For a unique shopping-spree experience, loose your sense of time and place in the labyrinthine shopping arcade hosted in the Eurotunnel Railway Station.
