酒店外部 Located in the heart of the historic centre, the Pousada de Beja São Francisco is a historic luxury hotel in Beja, the capital of Portugal's Baixo Alentejo sub region. You can visit the town's imposing Roman castle with its marble keep called the Torre de Menagem, one of the tallest of its kind, as well as the extensive curtain walls which used to have as many as 40 towers. The Pousada de Beja is also a historic monument in itself, located in the 13th century Franciscan convent of São Francisco, which features a rectangular Gothic chapel with a polygonal apse.
