This Farm Home located in Baião, Portugal, near the Douro River, boasts beautiful vineyards and old orange orchards, and is surrounded by endless woods and forests.

The property is run by a Portuguese couple who have restored and decorated the old house to make it the comfortable and cozy accommodation it is today. One of the most attractive aspects of the Casa de Cochêca is certainly the warm and friendly environment guests are able to enjoy during their stay, together with the unique natural surroundings.

Guests will be delighted with the traditional meals and dinners served at the main house, the outdoor swimming pool, the cozy common areas with TV and table games, the Azenha Bar or the wide garden. The house also features central heating.

By car
From Porto:
Take the A4, take exit to Marco de Canaveses and then follow the signs for Marco de Canaveses until you come to the bridge over the Tâmega river. After crossing the bridge, turn right towards Régua/Resende.
You will get to a road that goes around Marco de Canaveses. Keep going towards Régua/Resende, crossing several roundabouts. At the last roundabout, make a left turn, and at the next roundabout, turn right, towards Resende/Régua. Make another right turn at the end of this road. At this point you are on the EN 211. You will pass by the Intermarché supermarket and the Adega Cooperativa. Go straight for about 10 km/6 miles, until you will see a sign on your right to Casa de Cochêca - Turismo de Habitação. Follow this sign down a cobbled road until you get to the house.
