The Best Western Hôtel de la Rose is situated in the heart of Fribourg, just a few steps away from museums, the old town, the pedestrian area and the famous cathedral St. Nicholas. The hotel, a historical monument lately renovated, has kept its charm of the 17th century and is ideal for business people and families.
The front desk is open 24 hours, and in the reception area you will find a little business corner with the possibility of internet access, computer, printer and public phone. Newspaper information about the region and brochures are at your disposition.

At 2 km from the highway exit Fribourg Nord on the A12, direction Fribourg Center, the hotel is located in the center of Fribourg close to the cathedral St. Nicholas, the art and historical museum and the square of Jean Tinguely.
By train
In front of the train station in Fribourg there is a bus stop; the buses 1 (direction Portes des Fribourg or St Leonard) and 2 (direction Schönberg) are going to the hotel. The closest bus stop is called Tilleul and lies just in front of the hotel.
By airplane
The closest airports are Bern Belp, about 60 km from Fribourg, or Geneva, about 150 km away.
