The hotel has a wonderful location, close to the main attractions. We booked a room overlooking the Grand Canal, which provided an unforgettable view. It is a huge plus to be be able to take a water taxi from the Marco Polo Airport directly to the hotel dock. Alberto, one of the concierges, gave us excellent guidance in the selection of restaurants and was very helpful with any other questions we had. In sum, we have happy memories of our two nights at the Westin Europa.

The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean, but we had to wait from 9:00 AM until 15:00 PM to enter our rooms without any welcoming arrangement for us. In general it is a clean and nice hotel but doesn’t worth the amount of money you are paying.

The hotel was absolutely georgous. Because there was some confussion surrounding my reservation I was upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking the Grand Canal. This was done at their suggestion, not mine, as I was not upset and the confussion did not jepardize my reservation. They could not have been nicer.

Staff was very helpful with all of my needs and very friendly (24 hours). Accomodations were fantastic. A wonderful location near Piazza San Marco. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Franky speaking, I will never come back to this hotel, and never recommend it to my friends. I spent $650 for two nights for so-named "deluxe double" room, but no canal view, and without breakfast. Despite this season of Winter, Venezia was full of tourists, but I found the occupancy rate of this hotel was very low. I immediately realized the reason of this low rate when I was checking in. During my long diplomatic life I have stayed many hotels in many countries; yet, this was my first time to know that the Westin group operates this hotel with such low standard of service.

Please note - I selected the breakfast included option on the website, yet when I paid my bill at the end of the stay, the hotel was not aware that my breakfast was inluded and charged me 50 Euro for each breakfast. I had to pay as I had no proof of what the website said. This is very poor.

Breakfast was way too expensive. Room was a little hot and a bit noisy as I was facing the canal. The service was spectacular. The front desk and employees were very kind and very helpful. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to others. It is a hotel owned by a large chain, but I felt welcome and it was "homey".

Guests can leave their car in Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto. From Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto line 1 or 82 and step off at Vallaresso.
By train
From Santa Lucia railway station, take vaporetto line 1 or 82 and step off at Vallaresso.
By airplane
From Venezia-Marco Polo airport, take either a taxi to the hotel or a pullman to Piazzale Roma and follow the aforementioned indications.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
