Warwick New York Hotel - Manhattan, New York

The room was great, the bed very good, I was disapointed with the bathroom, too small, there was no space arround the lavatory to put anything, the shower was poor. Sometimes I could not put the heat in the temperature I wanted to. The staff were very helpfull and polited.

AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE! The room(category premiere) had no view but a wall.Impossible to see the sky. When we entered the room there was no bath towels in the bathroom.Just hands towels. In the evening, we had a shover before going out for restaurant:the hair dryer was not functioning, so we went out with wet hair. The following day, after a full day outside , we came back at the hotel at 6pm.Neither the room nor the bathroom had been cleant.

We spent seven nights at the Warwick in a classic suite. The first two were spent in lovely surroundings, but as we could not access the Internet in that room (where internet access was supposedly included), we were moved to a different suite (supposedly an upgrade!). I have never, in all my years of travel, stayed in a room that horrible. The furniture was cheap and nasty, the gold paint on the table was flaking off, the carpet had enormous stains on it, and was all buckled up in wave-like patterns. We were constantly tripping over the rises and dips of that carpet. To make matters worse, we still couldn't use our laptop there and were told, after a few days, that there was a problem with the wireless connection to that room as well!!! Why they moved us to that hideous room I have no idea - and then they had the nerve to charge us a daily internet connection at the end of our stay. I would recommend that no-one ever pays the huge cost for a suite at this hotel...the staff was inefficient and the hotel was very old and tired.

Had to change room, first one looked straigth into major wall from window.Terribly claustrophbic. Second room was excellent. Wish quotations for room prices would include all taxes etc in future.

The Warwick hotel was built by Randolph Hearst - the Publishing Magnate around 1930 - it was exactly what I was looking for. It had the grand old exterior with elegant but simple lobby - not pretentious - old money. Large comfortable rooms.

I stayed at The Warwick for 3 nights in mid-November. The location couldn't be better - across the street from MOMA, two blocks north of Rock Centre and Radio City; four blocks south of Central Park between Columbus and Fifth Avenue. Walk to Lincoln Centre. Perfect for anyone planning on visiting the park and all the galleries and musuems. The hotel is full of old New York history. The employees couldn't have been nicer and the place was spotless. I booked a deluxe King and had a corner room on the 31st floor - no traffic noise at all and great views. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very convenient as just opposite the Moma; easy access to fifth ave etc; did not have breakfast as pricey so ate outside. Would definitely recommend it as a classy hotel at a reasonable price for NYC.

Mini bar but no fridge available for private items.Small bathroom.Noisy hotel between adjacent rooms and corridor. Staff helpfull and Warwick hotel is well located.

I stayed on business, but would be very happy to come back to the hotel as a tourist. The location is superb, yet not noisy. You are a short walk away from Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Radio City, Park Avenue and Broadway. Don't know if all the rooms are as good but Venere offered a lower price than the hotel's website and the room was excellent - but then I suppose my expectations in NY would be lower than general to be honest.

Front desk staff was adequate. The concierge gave us questionable information about public transportation and the elevators can be incredibly slow but, overall, the property is very clean, well located and fairly priced.

The location of the hotel is fantastic! Two blocks from Rockefeller Center and one block from all the shops on Fifth Av. And 50 m from Manolo Blahnik, for those of us who love shoes! The room was very spacious, with a good size walk-in closet. Bathroom was very nice, good sized and clean. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Cool bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

It's just a shame that you have to shop around so much to find a decent deal in NYC! I had a deluxe room and cannot comment on the standard ones. This room was a very good size and acceptably quiet given it's very central location. The bathroom was not too small and well appointed too. The ground floor bar is very old-fashioned in not a good way and yet is still frequently overcrowded largely because passers-by are made very welcome.There should be a quiet bar area for guests only. Given how unpopular the hotel's restaurant is, maybe they could make a corner of that space available! That said, I would unhesitatingly recommend the Warwick and wish there were three or four of them in less frenetic parts of town!

We liked our stay at the Warwick beside the fact that we had to pay 40$ per day to park our car. We tought that the garage was included in the price of the room.

Fine hotel, excelent position, near 5th Avenue, Central Park, Broadway Ave, in front of MOMA Museum

Overall we found that the Warwick Hotel was a good choice for our short visit to New York. It was very convenient for Times Square, Central Park, the Rockfeller Centre and close to subways. The hotel was clean, the rooms spacious, and the staff were courteous. The breakfast was good, if a little expensive but there are other restaurants, etc fairly near. I would recommend the Rockfeller centre for views of New York, when we visited early morning there were no queues and we went straight to the top in minutes.

If we come to NY again we will go to The Warwick.

Spacious room and an excellent value. Several of the employees were very friendly towards my daughter and the beds and linens were the tops.
