Nil Pol Apartments - Warsaw

Pros: The studio apt was great. Ok, it could have used kitchen towels.Great sunlight. Very clean. There is a bodega around the corner, and across the street- which is bifurcated by subway construction, so you must use the detour- is a full service grocery store. right next to metro, buses, and a 15 min walk to the bus station The staff, especially Betty, was great. Cons: I really was looking forward to staying here, but it was an awful experience. The new E-W subway line is under construction all over town, including right in front of the building, 50 feet away. From 7am until 12-12:30 am. Boring, drilling, pounding, shouting, trucks beeping as they back up. I live on a busy main avenue in NYC and I can sleep thru anything but this was crazy. The windows are sound insulated well- the noise with them open is ear splitting- but still not enough to block it all out. On top of this my apt. was on top of a theatre...where on Friday night there was a loud concert- directly beneath my apt. On top of THAT, ppl and teenagers like to hang out on this corner near the train and jabber away. All night Friday I had the concert and the kids, until 6am when I was finally able to get some sleep. And then the earthquake came at 7am Sat morning. I awoke to my apartment shaking from the vibration of a giant earth boring machine. Literally, everything in the apt was shaking, including me and my bed. Obviously Nil Pol knows the construction is ongoing (I mean, their office is inside the building) and if they are going to rent the front rooms they need to warn about the construction, and offer the rooms at half price. Decent as the price was, I would not have paid it or would have requested a rear apt had I known. The construction isn't close to being finished- there must be a year left to go at minimum. I wouldn't stay again. And the floors are tile- pls be kind to your neighbor below and don't wear shoes!

Perfect Location in central Warsaw. Very clean, very secure and a fantastic view of one of the major landmarks from my window. Really enjoyed my stay.

Stayed at an apartment w/2 bedrooms (TV in each room), one w/full futon, one with 2 single beds. Kitchen fully equipped (no microwave), shower/bathroom, veranda facing main street - so a bit noisy but if closing the window it was OK. Only 5 min. walk from Central train station (off palace of culture), and across the street from Metro. 10 minutes walk from old town. Very good location, very convinient apartment. kind and knowledgable staff. Warmly recommended.

Entrance of building not good indicated. Exellent supply of city map and guide book!!

Appartamento con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,in pieno centro.Dalla finestra si vedeva il palazzo della cultura e la fermata del metro' e' praticamente dall'altra parte della strada.....la strada di questa struttura e' commerciale,piena di negozi e i supermarmaket sono a circa 100 metri dall'appartamento ......ottimo da consigliare!!!!!!!!
