Its on a main road, but never heard any traffic really. I would say the inside of the apartments need some maintenance but they are very clean. A car is needed to explore the area including Vilamoura, Quarteira and Albufeira. We used the hotel for a night before flying home. Overall a decent place

Even though on a main road, overall a nice quiet relaxing stay (but it is February). Grounds and apartments need some maintenance but maid service efficient enough. Apartments comprising large kitchenette, entry area, large bathroom with shower/bath, large bedroom with ample storage,spacious living room and terrace, are very roomy and contain all items needed. Clay tiled floors with novel cats paw imprints to look for on some tiles. On-site shop quite expensive (€3 Baked Beans). Transport definitely needed to fully enjoy Vilamoura, Quarteira and Albufeira, but very close to the railway station and if golf is your thing it is near many courses. We took bicycles and found it to be a good base for exploring. Sadly we had noisy neighbours below - otherwise very good accommodation, but in need of some care.
