Ideal location just across the river to the main shopping and restaurants but some handy local shops. Excellent room with plenty of space. The fridge is fully stocked for breakfast and is restocked as needed. Bread is delivered fresh each day.

Arena house has really a good location in walking distance to the centre and the people are very friendly, helpfull and motivated to make the stay really pleasant. You cannot expect luxury but everything is clean.Just perfect for a few days in Verona and the opera.

We had everyting you might need when you arrive to the apartment, including air conditioning, washing machine, hair dryer, soap, oil, salt, fully equipped kitchen and perfect breakfast package. It was better than shown on the photos! Very convenient and quiet location. Timely and full info provided by Venere.com and the host. Easy communication in English. Close to the historical centre, but not too close. Easy access by foot to all sites. Verona itself is beautiful!Very good place to stay!

My wife and I and our 2 girls (6 and 8) spent a lovely couple of nights at Verona House. The proporietors could not have been more welcoming, more friendly or more helpful. Despite the comments of some other guests, we found the locality to be safe, friendly (in university district) and very convenient to town. We had no problems walking back from the opera with the children at 1am. Many thanks and see you again soon I hope.

Nice rooms, nice wellcome, good service (information, help with parking, w-lan, ...). Good location, downtown is 5-10 min by foot. Price is ok in comparison with other accomodation in Verona.

Excellent apartment, only 15 mins from the Arena, main reason for visit! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of breakfast food in the fridge, plus fresh rolls every morning. Highly recommended. Note: Venere's map is not very helpful in finding this tiny blind alley, but the cab driver knew the area and phoned for exact info.

The stay in Arena House Verona has been a lot of confortable because is found near the center and the relacionship him good. The persons responsible, Gino and M.Luisa have been very kind! Verona is a very beutiful, calmed and full of history city. We have liked it a lot!!

Although this apartment was close to the centre of Verona (a 10 min walk) we had the impression that it was in a slightly rougher area of town. We didn't feel entirely safe walking back late at night with the children. But Verona is a wonderful place to visit and the apartment was large and well stocked with breakfast food. The owners were very nice and helpful (although they didn't change the lightbulb when we told them it didn't work). The apartment was slightly old fashioned and some of the wiring looked a bit suspect. It had a bath, which after 10 days in Italy with only showers made a bath-a-holics holiday. Parking was arranged by the owners at a local car park at 10euros a night.

Most enjoyable stay in Verona. Good to be a little off-centre and away from the crowds. Eugene and his wife were most helpful. Restaurant Fontanina was expensive but fabulous! Giardini Guisti just magical.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arena house, it was definitely one of the best pensions that I have stayed in during my different stays in europe. Igino and Louisa were fantastic hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay really enjoyable. They provided alot of information on the local area, heaps of breakfast food and advice on what to see and do. The location was great, just a short 5 min walk into town and close to shops, restaurants, places of interest. A cab fare to the station was on average about 6-7 euros. Verona was such a fantastic town to visit, we could have stayed much longer than 4 days - make sure you plan to see the Opera in the arena and do a walking tour - highly recommended and eat at "Romeos house" - fantastic food and value.

The "Arena House verona" is located in a quiet small street near to the city center of Verona. The hosts are extremly nice and helpful - speaking fluent english - with a warm welcome including a nice bottle of local wine. Parking was no problem as the owner gave us a residents pass for our car. The apartment itself ist very clean and modern (newly renovated) including airconditioning, spacious rooms, a wonderful bathroom and last but not least a kitchen fitted with everything you need. We had a great weekend at this place!

We would highly recommend this property for a visit to Verona. The location is excellent, about ten minutes walk to the arena. The property itself is extremely well equipped,very clean and fully modernised. (The photographs on the web-site do not do this property justice at all, these were placed before it was modernised but the owners are about to update the web-site). The owners are very welcoming and helpful and have thoughtfully provided everything you are likely to need, including breakfast.
