We stayed in an appartment. On Venere were no details about the keys. We had to go to a hotel for the keys. It was very noisy, because other appartments they were working on. Lot of noise at 07.00 am. There were also bedfleas. Bah

Spacious apartment, although quite a lot of noise came through from the apartment next door into the late evening (11:00 - 12:00pm). Good kitchen area, but no electric jug and no microwave. Difficult to boil water for a cup of tea. No mention that the apartment was 4 storeys up in a building with no lift. Shower outlet blocked on our second day - when we cleared it out got complaints from the owner rather than thanks - that was disappointing. No wifi at the apartment - had to go to Hotel Ariel Silva and pay to use wifi there - that was also disappointing in both regards (i.e to have to pay and to not have wifi available at the apartment complex). In summary, a nice apartment, and a nice stay in Venice somewhat spoiled by some fairly ordinary service on the periphery.

I would have apreachiated to know that we had to share our bathroom with three strangers (in this case with especially long hair) from the other room.

The apartments are very central, and the written directions on the website make finding the Hotel Ariel Silva fairly straightforward, although there is no need to take a vaporetto to the property if you are not carrying heavy luggage. Its is much easier to access on foot. The apartments were clean and well maintained, and beds made up and rubbish emptied every day. My only slight compliant would be the gas hob in our apartment was a bit tricky to use. However, as we were only staying for three nights, and did not need to cook, it didn't really matter. I would recommend this property primarily due to its central location, in a great area, with a number of great bars nearby.

It's very central. We loved to stay in this small flat. It's not a wonderful flat but the location is very good.

This was our first time in Venice. Prior to arrival, I took the explicit directions someone else had posted on Venere.com and highlighted our route to the Hotel Ariel Silva, where we checked in, and to the apartments. Without that detailed map, I am certain we would have gotten lost. Italy is not known for building in easy grid patterns or marking their streets well! We very much enjoyed our stay at these apartments. We were in the top floor attaic apartment, which was a very healthy climb as there is no lift, but it was quiet and had a nice breeze. It was on the small side, but workable. There was an annex room with a twin bed, but it had a very low ceiling - if your third person is a child, they will be thrilled with their fort-like space! There were plenty of electric outlets, a small kitchen (which we did not use), air conditioning (which we also did not use), and maid service daily. The only drawback is that there was no phone, other than the door buzzer system. The concierge at the Hotel Ariel Silva was very helpful with directions. Also, they were kind enough to let us check out the night before and leave the key on the table, as we needed to go in the other direction in the morning. When we did leave, it was a mere 10 minute walk to the Fond Nord water taxi port, with only a couple of bridges to cross, and from there it was a 25 minute boat ride to the airport. All in all, it was a very convenient location and a lovely stay. We would definitely stay there again.

The room that was offered to us were at the top floor and without lift. The room was clean but being the top floor the height of the door to the kitchen was too low which made us bump our head several times while entering and coming out of the kitchen. Checkin takes place in Hotel Ariel Silva as written in other reviews earlier and keys are obtained there for the room which is no-where mentioned in the website. The power went off several times possibly due to some overloading issues as two flats were tied up on the same power-line.I had to call up Hotel Ariel Silva at mid-night once in order to sort out the issue which was attended by them cordially. Overall, it's ok for three people to stay for a day or two.

The adverstisement fo the aprtment was a litle misleading becasue it really doesn't fit six people that well. Getting to the Hotel Ariel Silva was difficult because I had not been to Venice before. A little bit more detail on getting to both locations (the Hotel and the apartment)would be helpful.

You should include in your factsheet of the apartment that check-in takes place at Hotel Ariel Silva, about 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Location wise, going by the water bus Line 1 from the Santa Lucia train station, it is very convenient. But at 6 euros each passenger, it is way overpriced for such a short distance. Also, it would be easier for your users if you included directions on how to get to the apartment. The map provided on your website is a lousy depiction of the its location. The apartment did not have hot water in the shower, only cold water. I called up the hotel and was told to leave the water running for a while and the hot water would come on, but I did not want to waste more water after 15 minutes - we still did not have hot water. I ended up having a cold shower. Very unpleasant.

Our biggest complaint is that we had to struggle to obtain information about our booking. The whereabouts of the apartment was difficult to establish. I sent numerous emails and made telephone calls prior to our holiday as I was concerned about the lack of information. I was unaware that when we got to Venice it would be necessary to register at the Hotel Ariel Silva and obtain a key from there. I didn't know the address of the hotel. If the procedure on arrival had been made clear we would have been spared time, effort and worry. We were pleased with the apartment's location and felt it was reasonably priced. It was clean and comfortable. One point worth noting - the poor standard of its electrical installation which, in my view, was hazardous. We opted not to use the cooker for our own safety.

The room is nice and furnitures are new but there is not telephone and the fridge is in the same room of the bed. Anyway it is situated in a wonderful place near the center of the city, just 5 mins far away from S.Marco Square and near streets plenty of nice shops, bars, restaurants and supermrket. Its also 10 mins far away from the train station. We really liked it.

The kitchen facilies where not good. The stove couldn't be turn off - you had to unplug it. There was only one good pot in the kitchen wear one or two more would have been helpful. The view was wonderful and the location as well. With a little lesser price it would have been perfect. The bathroom and the service was excellent.

It doesn't say but you have to go to a hotel down the road to get the keys before you can get in. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Highly reccommended!
