This room was great for the one night needed before boarding a cruise out of Venice. The airport shuttle dropped us within walking distance of the hotel and it is near the People Mover getting to the cruise ship. This is not for everyone - no elevators. There are 18 stairs between floors to carry your luggage. Per instructions emailed to us, we go to Hotel Ai Tolentini to check in and leave luggage (18 stairs to climb), toured venice, returned to Tolentini to bring our bags down and escorted 450 paces to Venice Resorts (Apartment) to a very nice room after climbing another 18 steps with luggage to our room on first floor. No receptionist in the building so if you need assistance, you need to walk back to Tolentini (or call) to make your request. I had trouble with the wifi connection. Noisy during normal hours from the restaurants below and across the street (10 feet wide). There are some bridges with steps you must carry your luggage over but that is true for most of Venice. We were able to walk to most sights in Venice including Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Make sure you use the mosquito devices the hotel places in the room.

Close to Plaza Roma so access was very good for transport, the cafe for breakfast was nearby and very welcoming. The V.R. staff were very friendly and eager to please. Properties are period so staircase was quite narrow. Loved the City and could have spent longer there!

We stayed 2 nights. For elderly people we were put on the top floor (4) while younger people with hand luggage were on the lower floors. We had no help carry our heavy large cases up the narrow stairs. Had we been prepared we would have attempted to get a porter at the station, although there were none available on our arrival. We did book a porter on the journey to the cruise terminal. The receptionist was quite rude and unhelpful on the night we arrived, exhausted and spent just getting to this office. Location was fine but not a place for people of our age with luggage for a cruise.

We spent 5 nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The location was great - just a few minutes from the bus station and vaparetto stop. We were on the 2nd floor which wasn't a problem but there's no lift so it's not suitable for people with mobility issues. Had no problems with WiFi - it worked fine, and we enjoyed the breakfast in the cafe opposite (the staff there were also very friendly!). Overall we had a wonderful time - the only downside was the lack of an onsite reception to deal with a noisy group on our last night who thought it OK to make noise until after 4:00am. Thankfully they shut up when we yelled at them!! Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I stayed at Venice resorts with my senior aged mother in the two person room for 4 nights and it was excellent! Exactly what I wanted. It's on a street that gets quiet by 10pm even on a Saturday. The breakfast is great at the nearby Cafe. The location is excellent to be a little bit off the main tourist drag, but a fairly close and a very pretty walk to the bus or train station as well as waterbus docks. There were three flights of steep stairs, so not great if you want to go in and out of your room a lot, but we were happy to hang out in Venice all day and loved the location. Great value for Venice.

The Venice Resorts property is nicely located a short walk from the Piazzale Roma. This made it easy to catch our bus to the airport the morning we left. We had a double room for the three of us which was plenty of space. The room was very clean and in great condition. The bathroom was small, but it had everything you would need, most importantly nice hot water! The only downside is the very weak wifi signal. The structure of the building is most likely to blame for this. Some devices pickup the signal better than others.

I have visited Venice on three occasions, and while the other accommodations ( in San Marco ) were excellent, this has been the best value so far for the high standard of service that it provides and is right up there with the 3-4 star star accommodation around. Firstly - the male receptionist is the most competent, skilled and pleasant, we, as a family of five ( 2 adults and three children, 20, 16 and 14), have ever encountered. Congrats to management for having someone like this on your staff. We stayed in the dependance just around the corner which we were escorted to by the receptionist, in a triple room and a double room. Absolutely beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean and fab bathrooms also!! The triple room had a separate area with the third bed in it which allowed privacy between our two daughters and son. Unfortunately, we were only staying for one night having travelled from Rome to there but we will definitely return for a longer stay in this hotel again. Great location too!!

The location, hotel room and staff are excellent. The stairs are steep so managing luggage could be difficult although the hotel staff are very willing to provide assistance if needed. Our only negative would be the quality breakfast which is included. The cafe, cafe staff and location of the cafe is good, however the quality of the food served is very marginal. I recomend the hotel review and set a better standard that the cafe has to maintain relative to food quality. Most patrons simply had a coffee and left.

Don't stay at this hotel. I'm usually very positive with my online reviews, but this was a very frustrating experience and I have little good to say about it. It was incredibly difficult to find and the check in staff member was quite rude, even mocking tourists in front of me. It was very over priced for what it was and the website/photos were deceiving. The cleaning ladies were kind, but I was so put off by how difficult it was to check in and the offensive office staff. I had read so many reviews on this hotel that I thought it would be an ok stay - I was disappointed.

There was no nobody to open the door so we had to call on telephone number provided on door. Wifi was really slow and it was not rectified even after complaining. Tv reception was also not good. Positive part - room was nice, quite spacious and well maintained and also washroom. Bed was also comfortable.

We stayed for 4 days in Venice. Our welcoming at the busstation was very good. No waiting for us because a nice young man was waiting already for us. It was a short walk to the reception. The room in another structure was not far en we stayed on the first floor. Maybe the only thing was that we slept with open windows and sometimes it was noisy on the street below at night with people talking, passingby late at night. We had an excelent stay and I would recommend the Venice Resorts to everybody I know!

The Resort Venice Resorts is very much like a building of rooms with no hotel concierge. You must collect your hotel key at a different nearby (walking distance)hotel. The reservation included a breakfast at a nearby cafe. The place was nice and cozy. The free WIFI was limited in signal. There were 2 restaurants right by the main entrance. Very conveniently located to the bus terminal. I would recommend this place.

The location and room was pretty good. The only thing that really sucked was the service. The room was all the way at the top of the building, very cosy, with tiny stairways. Barely fit our luggage. Dragging our luggage up was a hell. They told us they will come get us when we arrived, said in 10 minutes, we waited 30 minutes before someone showed up. I had a GPS and was able to track the location, and it was only 2 minutes from where we were. The people were very dismissive and not helpful at all. The lady who came to guide us was in such a rush we had to run after her with out 50 lbs luggages. So then she volunteered to help my girlfriend with her luggage. Then when we got there, she actually charged us 5 euros for her help! That is unheard of for us. We would have gladly tipped but to charge us without warning, was just out right bad. And she was even damaging her luggage by letting it smash around on the stairs.

The good: The room was spacious. The air conditioner worked great. The jacuzzi was so welcoming at the end of a long, hot day. The hostess was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We loved having a place to store our luggage after checkout so we didn't have to lug it with us all day. The bad: The beds were VERY uncomfortable. A kitchen table with a bedspread would have been easier to sleep on. The room was at the top of many steep flights of stairs and was not easy to get in or out of. The stairs were lighted by motion lights that did not work. I stumbled down completely dark stairs several times. The "jacuzzi" was really just a large bathtub. Not big enough for more than one person.

On our arrival in Venice I telephoned Venice Resorts Hotel as requested and was asked to meet with a representative at Venice Bus Station. We were then walked to our rooms, approximately a 15 minute walk with heavy suitcases over at least three bridges. All our rooms were on the 3rd or 4th floor. There is no elevator! Three of my group were over 65 with my mother-in-law almost 80. There was no mention on the hotel website about the location of the rooms. The triple room I had booked was also different to the one photographed. Following a fairly angry phone call during which I was told that I should have given more information about the ages of the people in my party, I was given alternative accommodation at the Casanova Bed and Breakfast which was much more suitable. It was however more expensive!!

Breakfast is a little bit poor. You only get one cup of coffee. You take it in a liitle cafe close to the B&B. What I did not like is, that you are ask to meet one of the manager between 9 to 11 o'clock in this cafe. So you are not realy free to plan your day.

My only complaint is with the Wifi. I specifically chose hotels that provided Wifi, and even after I told management there was no Wifi signal, nothing was done about it and I had to pay 4 Euro to use an internet cafe about 4 blocks away.
