Vacation Rental Kosher House Giardino dei Melograni - Venice

I would definitely recommend the Kosher House, especially if you want to stay for more than a couple of days and explore more than just the obvious tourists sites in Venice. Rooms are clean, spacious, with terrazzo floor, very modern spacious bathrooms and in a very quiet location on the Campo Ghetto Novo, in the heart of the old Jewish quarter. It is an easy walk from the railway station and even easier from the Guglie vaporeto/alilaguna stop. They serve a good kosher breakfast and there are some interesting kosher restaurants nearby that give a nice change from the usual Venetian Italian food. I like staying in Cannaregio because it is quite and less claustrophobic than some other parts of Venice and it is easy to get to and from the airport and train station.

The location is very good; very close to the train station and in a very nice area. I guess that if I were jewish I would have appreciated it even more. Don't fool yourself: Venice is an EXPENSIVE city, so this hotel offers good value for the money. The breakfast was Kosher (which means no pork) and therefore a little sad (LOL) but otherwise it was very healthy and fresh. Very nice experience overall.

This is a wonderful location for a quiet place away from the crowds. Still within walking distance of all attractions. Rooms are very large for Venice accommodations, and staff were all helpful. A great place to stay even if you are not Jewish. (We are not.) We plan to return in the future.
