The location was excellent, a little off the beaten path but still close to the attractions. There was some confusion on my part as to which apartment by Sunny Venice I was actually going to stay in. The photos of their apartments are all run together. Despite asking many questions to them, I still thought we were to stay in the 2-floor unit. Fortunately, the one we were in had what we needed anyway.

Lovely two-storey apartment - the photos really don't do it justice. Great location, three minutes from a vaporetto stop and five minutes walk to the Accademia. Good restaurants and cafes nearby.

On our arrival, it was very hard to contact the owners -- they had given us a wrong cell number, and it was only after 2 hours of waiting in a restaurant that we found them. Then, the landlord requested our payment, in advance and in cash, along with a 200 euro cleaning deposit. Not a problem, except that they had not told us, and we did not have that much in cash. That said, the apartment is delightful -- clean, warm, well-equipped, and very close (5 minutes walk, in very pleasant surroundings) to San Marco and the vaporetto. If you book, clarify the contact info with them well in advance, as well as the payment. (They don't accept CC or PayPal. You have to send the deposit by bank wire transfer, which is a pain).

SUNNY VENICE:The Sunny Venice Apartment offers two spacious and bright double rooms, all featuring a private bathroom with Jacuzzi.This completely renovated house is equipped with every comfort to make your holiday unforgettable. Sunny Venice is set on two floors and consist of a typical entrance, a completely furnished kitchen with fridge and oven, a bathroom and a spacious living-room with TV and a double sofa bed.
HAPPY VENICE:
Composed by 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with shower, the apartment has been completely renovated on 2006 with precious and modern furniture.
A comfortable living-room will be able to relax you, looking out the little balcony with the view on the canal, where gondolas pass silently.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, micro-oven and washing machine.
