Apartamentos Bajondillo - Torremolinos

Welcoming staff, very well situated in front of the sea, and not far from the center of Torremolinos and train station. ( though many steps to climb ) Quality breakfast. Thin walls: So, a bit noisy if your neighbours are not too quiet

Had fantastic weather 20+ degrees early feb but no sun on balcony. View of sea though and little traffic. Many elderly americans and i think germans but no screaming kids. lovely hot bubble baths check out local supermarkets. Only 1 euro 30 on train from malaga airport and free transport back from hotel. Fantastic!!!And right on beach front. Viva espagna xx

Fantastic hotel, with beautiful rooms and very good public areas! only some members of the staff were unpleasant and rude, but I'm sure that the next year I will come to Bajondillo Apartments!

The double room did not gel at all - it was too small and basic (but great for the price), so we upgraded to the more spacious apartment (the only one available) for more than double the price. Ideally, a larger double bedroom would have been the better bet, but we had no choice. This could sleep four and there were just the two of us. But the rooms were very spacious; the bathroom was excellent and so was the kitchen. The balcony ran around the unit (it was a corner unit) and was absolutely huge with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean and the beach right in front. It was cleaned every day; the beds were made and trash taken out. It was a great location - minutes to the lift that takes you to the top to the town and bus stop. About 10 minutes leisurely walk to the supermaket. Plenty of restaurants, bars, visitor information centre and a gorogeous promenade walkway right in front. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative comment is the outdated furniture and the dirty fabric covered sofa could either use a change or steam cleaning. Overall a very pleasant experience and would repeat it.

Spent 5 days here in late Sept. '09 with my two sisters and my sisters 12 week old baby. It was an ideal location as it was only 15 mins max in a taxi from Malaga airport and it was straight across the road from the beach and the promenade. The apt. was very spacious with a huge balcony and plenty of storage space and towels. They are quite high so if you prefer not to be in an apt. that's up too high i suggest you request a first floor apt when booking. The majority of people staying there whilst we were there were older people so it was relatively quiet which suited us down to the ground. It's ideal if you have kids with you and they and you like the beach because it's literally straight across the road. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. very peaceful despite size of hotel.

The wireless internet does not work, at least not on the 9th floor where I stayed: the signal was too low. Cleanliness is ok but not perfect. I could find long hair on the floor, but my head is shaved! They admit animals, in fact there was a dog in a room close to mine, so the quietness was gone for me. There were mainly families and mature people, but in general I enjoyed my staying.

Very well located, Please take a parking space inside if you have a car. Very busy hotel with lots of distractions.

I have stayed at Bajondillo several times and have never been dissapointed. From the reception to domestic staff are all very helpfull and friendly Also, the apartments suit all types.

This apartment complex has seen its glory days about 20 years ago. Mostly elder people stay there now and the interior is directly from 70's. They should really buy new furniture! But for the price the room is very good and has a renovated kitchen and bathroom. If you look for stylish place this is not for you but if practical and clean is enough for you then this is your place. The rooms do not smell bad as in some other places. Air-conditioning is good. Very good full buffet breakfast for 8e and friendly personel! As close to the beach as possible. Good parking places for cars.

La struttura è proprio sul mare, molto comoda. Le camere vengono riordinate quotidianamente. Lo staff è cordiale. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene. il mare era ghiacciato!!!

I have stayed at Bajondillo three times now and have never had any complaints. This time however we had very noisy clients above us who made noise and moved furniture around at all hours at night and continued it for hours on end!After a phone call to reception it was dealt with and I would return again.

The location, the service and the view was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And the overall value for money was unbeatable.

The location is excellent, dead centre but not noisy, the whole complex is spotlessly clean and our apartment we had was perfect for us. If you want to do lots of cooking probably not 100% if you want a fridge thats very cold and eat out mainly spot on. Shower very powerful bathroom brand new. Downside almost impossible to get a sunbed, but plenty of empty grass if this suits, we used the beach, only 30 yards away. Torrellomenos not the cheapest place but very friendly, to my surprise not lots of youngsters but mainly more mature visiters (a lot of Spanish on holiday there)

It was very good, we really enjoyed our stay in "Apartamentos Bajondillo". It's fantastic, all terrace look at the sea :-)

Well i have stayed there for four times consecutivelyand there is no problem at all, will recommend any one who is not

This hotel offers excellent value for money,the staff are most helpful and the property is very conveniently situated right on the beach and within easy walking distance of the main shopping area ,buses etc.they also offer free entertainment e.g. Flamenco show on Saturday night which was most enjoyable.

Good location on seafront with a pleasant walk to Benalmadena Marina. Although Torremolinos is up a hill there are both steps and lift (50 cents) close to hotel.

We returned to the Bajondillo apartments after 28 years to find nothing had changed. The fixture and fittings were still the same as thankfully were the high standards. The room was maybe a bit old fashioned but was spotlessly clean as the cleaners called each day. The staff were wonderful, extremely pleasant and helpful. The location of the apartments is ideal as the front gate is just across the road from the beach and the back gate leads to the steps that take you to San Miguel St. the main shopping street. For those not agile enough for the steps there is also a lift near the steps that takes you up to the main street. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bajondillo apartments.

We had a fantastic time here at the Bajondillo. The great thing was that they were apartments with hotel facilities. The staff were excellent and the location was superb. We have already booked again for next year.

We have stayed at these apartments twice in the last 5 months! The apartments are great - lovely bathrooms - great views and the reception staff are very helpful. I love the central location on the Playamar right opposite the beach and the spaciousness of the gardens where you can sunbathe around the large pool. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed at bajondilla from 25 aug to 3 sept 2007.we are a couple in our forties and would highly recommend this place. location excellent, peaceful no noise at night time. I walked most mornings the promenade to benalademena and it was beautiful wide promenade where people jogged,walked and ran every morning. the main shopping street is behind the premises where we found this excellent restaurant upstairs called el toro azul, service excellent and food to die for. try the chateaubriand €36.00 for 2 people or paella. the staff in appartments were very helpful we stayed in our appartment till 4pm for €30 as our flight was not till 6pm.cleaning lady gave me clean towels on the day we were leaving as i met her going into the appartment to have quick shower before we checked out. where would you get this service . this is my 2nd time staying here and we will be going back. top class

Slightly tacky hotel, when we arrived they did not seem to be expecting us or particularly bothered, luckily I had the reservation confirmation with me. The apartment was ok.Room 2010, view over the pool and beach. One separate bedroom with twin beds and 2 beds in the living room that pulled down. Remember to ask for the lock for the safe before you get to your room or you have to go all the way back to get it, there is a daily rental rate and a deposit. We arrived late at night , there was no parking and no help given trying to find some. If we had not already visited the area before that could have been a problem so late at night. Staff not particularly welcoming but ok. Breakfast served at 7 euros extra per person, though our youngest ,age 4, ate free. Big selection of cereals meats, cheeses, rolls toast and hot breakfast. Plenty of coffee available. All in all an adequate hotel ok for a short break but not for a whole week. Next time I'll stick to the Hotel Isabel down the road.
