Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is a magnificent 5 star motel in Taupo located alongside the Lake Taupo Volcanic Zone and its natural mineral water hot springs in Taupo, New Zealand.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by stunning views of Lake Taupo, and the volcanoes of the Tongariro National Park; and you’ll soon be mesmerized by the sounds of water. After your long journey, unwind and relax in one of several hot mineral water pools at Living Waters Spa. Afterwards, you can nap in the sun then work out any remaining tension with a therapeutic massage amidst the lush natural scenery. Aromatherapy treatments are offered at the spa, and couples treatments are available (advanced reservations required). Meanwhile, the kids will be working off pent-up energy in the interactive water playground, which has a slide. There are also 4 outdoor swimming pools (Child must be accompanied by adult in swimming pool.)

In addition to the hot springs, the area offers plenty of other activities to suit everyone’s tastes. For some outdoor adventure, you can go rock climbing, bungee jumping, sky diving, white water rafting, fishing, or kayaking; ride a jet boat through nearby rapids or take a helicopter ride above the mountains. Other outdoor activities located nearby include parasailing, miniature golf, canoeing, and sailing. A playground, a barbecue and a café are provided, and the Bistro Lago al fresco restaurant serves a modern European cuisine for lunch and dinner (reservation required).
Pets are accepted (dogs and cats only), and an airport shuttle is available on request for a surcharge. Wireless Internet access is also available in some public areas for a fee. This resort provides an accessible path of travel for guests with disabilities, including parking, in-room accessibility and a roll-in shower.
