Pilve Apartment Hotel - Tallinn

Very spacious apartment in the basement. . Cleen and quiet place, only two bus stops from the Old Town. Including kitchen with coffeemaker, kettle, electric oven, iron. There has to be hair-dryer, but it was absent for some reason, anyway, I didn't need it. Receptionst was friendly, but the chambermaid was obvoiusly overworked and forgot to prepare my apartment, so I had to wait a little while

We stayed in one of the double studio apartments - it was clean, tidy and all we needed for a short break exploring Tallinn. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was ideal for a bit of quiet time recovering from walking round the city. Kitchen facilities are basic, but fine if you just want to make tea/coffee and breakfast. The shower was really good although the bathroom was quite stuffy in the hot weather we experienced. Staff were very efficient and I liked the entry code system used rather than having to carry a key around (although the code pad for our apartment was a bit temperamental and sometimes took a few attempts to get in!) The apartments are in a fairly quiet residential area, a bit noisier at the weekend but in general felt friendly and safe. It's a 10-15 min walk to the Old Town and supermarket in the nearby shopping centre is great for stocking up for breakfast or picnics. Overall, I would say this is good value basic accommodation.
