Vacation Rental L'Albergaccio - Siena

The bed was very very very soft (too soft), for me. Moreover, it would be useful to provide a schedule with the informations about buses that go to and from Siena, in order to avoid misunderstanding. However, the owners are very friendly and good people.

We were driving so this was convenient for us. The view from this accommodation was stunning. Located in the Tuscan countryside but within easy reach of the Medieval town of Sienna. This was about 15 mins by bus which was 2 mins walk from our room. There was a kitchen area which we could use and the local store was just 2 mins walk away so that we were able to provide our own breakfast. There was a very good restaurant for dinner which was about 2 mins drive. Our hostess was very sweet and helpful. It was very private and pleasant. The garden and parking areas were great.

Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The facility and price were fine, except for the extra charge to use the kitchen and no breakfast provided. The grounds were nice, but unfortunately the hotel was located on a very busy highway going into Siena. This was the noisiest place we stayed in our 3 weeks in Italy.

We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was spacious (bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen). It had no air-conditioning but the temperature was very comfortable. We were woken up early in the morning with noises outside our bedroom window. We were delayed a day because of a train strike. Our hostess, Danielle, was very gracious and understanding and did not charge us for that night. Since it was an apartment, there was no breakfast. But there was a liitle bar within walking distance up the street to get a cup of coffee and a sweet. The bus stop was also just up the street, so it was convenient to catch the bus into Siena. It was more difficult to catch one back to the aprtment as they didn't run as often at night. By the second night we had it figured out.
