Apartamentos Murillo - Seville

Nice, clean, quiet, good price. We stayed for 4 nights. I should go back there again. Coffeemaker at the room should be nice (there is one downstairs but it did not work each day).

Location is excellent. Staff helpfull, especially the girl at reception, was great in providing info about Seville and how to get there. Very nice and friendly. Room was quiet overlooking internal courtyard. All the city is in reach on foot. Only used transport once to visit FV Seville's Stadium which was closed, and no one would bend any rules for you to at least take a quick look. Appartments in the middle of fantastic restaurants and souveneir shops. A great place to dine would be Casal Roman, which is just round the corner. Breakfast at hotel is quite poor though. Needs to be replenished more often, and more items needs to be added. Both appartments murillo, and Seville are perfect for couples and families. Should we want to return to seville, we'd definitely pick here again. Definitely challenging to find as a location, but the rest is fine. Recommended

Good space for 3 people and spacious kitchen. Very hard to find without GPS. Our room,which was on the first floor was very noisy as it overlooked a very narrow street that was used by many people at all hours and a very noisy dog who barked out his window right across from our window. Great courtyard to sit in when not too hot and air conditioned lounge area. Location was in a very pretty area of Seville but just too noisy for a good night sleep. Maybe rooms on other side or up higher would have been better. We could have been moved, but room was much smaller and no kitchen.

We couldn't have been happier staying right in the heart of Santa Cruz in our little apartment. Very clean, modern suite. Only drawback was ground floor, couldn't open window blinds as right against pedestrian walkway. Anna at front desk was so helpful and warm. Beautiful courtyard was lovely to walk through, although this May, almost to hot to sit for any time. Air conditioned coffee room off courtyard was perfect. Very centrally located, yet amazingly quiet at night. Extremely close to shops and restaurants/bars, especially one two steps from front lobby.

Excellent place to stay and value for money!

Would definitely stay there again. Charming Santa Cruz surroundings, with narrow shadowy streets and historic buildings. Apartamentos extremely clean and rather quiet for the area. Very near to the Cathedrale and Alcazar. Nice staff. Nicely set room with kitchenette. We really enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the poor quality of breakfast (Hotel Murillo opposite the street), it was nicer to have breakfast in the bars nearby. Overall, a delightful experience.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartments. It was hard to find due to the winding streets and no names on many street maps. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. They all spoke English very well. The location of the hotel was ideal walking distance to all the major sites. A great area to wander around in with quaint restaurants, cafes, shops and plazas. True Spanish culture in Seville and this hotel is in a perfect location. The apartments were very clean,with a spacious kitchenette area and updated bathrooms. The only negative was the noise, you could hear everything from the narrow street as people walked by and when the restaurant/bar opened up. Have to keep windows closed which we did because it was cool nights. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the apartments.

Overall we loved our stay at Apartamentos Murillo. The location was excellent and the 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family. Our room was located on the first floor which had windows that opened out right onto the street so it was noisy if people were walking down the street. My only suggestion would be to ask for a room on an upper floor. This was our first visit to Seville and we were very happy with our accomodations

Great location, about 15 min walk from centre of town, right in old quarter, very touristy, but feels safe. Hard to find hotel, but great amenities and friendly staff. I would stay here agin.

Great location:all main Seville's amenities at walking distance.Spacious,clean and well equipped apartment.Good and rich breakfast.Friendly and competent personnel.Very good value for money. Pay attention at the position of the apartment because some of them are on a road with several tapas bar thus noisy till early in the morning.

I stayed in a studio apt with my 20 year old daughter for 5 days at the end of July after she finished her summer abroad study program in Seville. The room was modernly furnished,clean and,comfortable. The bathroom was a nice size. The sink was a little small, but had a good hairdryer. Room 19 was above the courtyard and was quiet. The two young men who worked at the desk were friendly and always willing to answer questions. Also,the hotel has free internet and a coin operated washer and dryer which was a nice bonus. There are also lounge chairs on the roof and an outdoor shower. Breakfast was included in our special price. It offered a typical breakfast selection and was fine for us because we don't eat much at breakfast. However, if it weren't included in the rate, I don't think I would have paid 7 Euro for it. One thing to be aware of is that all of the electricity goes off when the room key is taken out of the wall switch, therefore, the refrigerator goes off too. Keep your extra room card in the wall switch when you go out. Bedroom needs a mirror in it, but would definitely stay here again. Additionally, if you don't have much luggage the bus stop to the airport is not far away (ten min. walk, no hills)on Avenida del Cid, across from the University and is only 2.30 Euro for fare. Much cheaper than a taxi. If you have more than a small rolly then you'll probably need to take a taxi. The stay here was quite nice.

We stayed for a week in a studio apartment. The location was excellent and it was very good value. Everything was very clean. There was no street noise at all and although we were next to the lift it was completely silent. Abel - the receptionist - was most helpful. One request and I think others have mentioned it - a mirror please, in the bedroom! It doesn't matter where - perhaps inside a cupboard door? - but it really is a pain when someone is in the bathroom and there's no mirror for the other person to use. Apart from the lack of mirror, everything was perfect.

Only disappointment poor quality of inclusive breakfast food and drink. Nothing fresh.

We really enjoyed our stay at Apartamentos Murillo in Sevilla. We were on the ground floor adjacent to the courtyard, which sometimes got noisy but was very convenient. Fantastic location near Cathedral, Alcazar, and Barrio Santa Cruz. Room was clean and spacious. Next to impossible to find the first time without help, with so many narrow, crisscrossing alleys to navigate through. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You'll get the hang of it after getting lost 2-3 times!

Please specify that to get access to the appts it has to be walking no cars access directly to the appts. washer and dryer , just one for all appts and on the roof !! an additionnal mirror would of free the toilet

I could hardly imagine a better place to stay in Seville! Excellent, and a splendid location. There are photos on Venere showing some building works on the patio. These are now finished, so please do not be misled.

The place was a total nightmare to find - even on foot! We didn't even attempt to drive there, our sat nav couldn't cope with Seville so we walked the last 500m and and eventually stumbled upon the place after several wrong turns... However, once we got there we were delighted with the friendly reception we received. The concierge was so helpful and informative, he spoke fluent english and gave us loads of recommendations for tapas bars, flamenco places etc. We went to the bar he recommended, where they have free flamenco most nights and we had a blast. I'd definitely recommend the place, but bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. It got pretty noisy since our room overlooked the street.

Cosy little place in a most beautiful part of Seville. Friendly and competent staff. Lots of historical places to see within walking distance.

Perfect Hotel in the historic site of Seville.

The apartment is located in the heart of the picturesque Santa Cruz quarter.

Perfect location in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz. Stayed for 3 nights in these pleasant and comfortable appartments. Well equiped and very clean and just the right size for two people. We were on the second floor, apartment 14, so the noise from Reinoso and the nearby tapas bars and restaurants didn't really disturb us. It can be noisy with people walking past but you cannot improve upon the location; Real Alcazar, the cathedral, Giralda, all around the corner. Barrio Santa Cruz is fabulous and we got lost in the laneways numerous times but always managed to stumble back to Murillo. Breakfast is at the Hotel Murillo (just at the end of Reinoso laneway) and is very good value at 5 euros. Like other comments, don't take a car if you can help it. Most of the area is pedestrian only and car parking is at a premium. I'd recommend taking a taxi and then using your feet or the buses to travel around. Exceptional value and great location. Would really recommend Apartmentos Murillo.
