A very good place to stay in Santiago, centrally located, quiet, confortable room and climatisation, supermarket and everything you need near-by. The only thing you must know is that the person who manages the flats is in an office just round the corner.

My room was compact but nicely furnished and well equipped. The building's location - three blocks from the main square and just round the corner from a supermarket - was a definite plus. And the service from Soho Apart was inobtrusive but friendly and helpful when needed. My only (small) criticism is the drawn out, stop-go cleaning service which effectively excludes you from your room for about three hours a day. Couldn't this be made a little brisker?

The suite was wonderful! Very clean and with lovely employees. We had the language barrier, which was significant. It would have been so very helpful to have access to even one person who spoke English. The maids did carry with them some phrases that were translated into English, thankfully. What we missed most was access a front desk. The building is shared by several businesses, and the Soho apartment complex has no front desk. Communicating needs to the management is impossible if you do not speak the language. This was a frustration on several occasions.

When we accidentally locked our single room key (they would give us only one) in our room, no staff members were available to unlock our room. It was necessary to pay a locksmith to come to unlock our room door after 10 p.m. There should be 2 keys available if there are 2 people staying in the room, or staff always available to help with this.
