Vacation Rental Casa Lari - San Gimignano

Casa Lari was an excellent experience. My friend and I stayed 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The facility would be perfect for couples or families. The parking was a wonderful benefit. The kitchen was well stocked and cooking some of own meals provided a fun experience. I would definitely recommend Casa Lari and look forward to another visit.

beautiful landscape around Casa Lari. Having a good GPS to find the place can be helpful. Nice and large room, a pool outside, area is quiet. I would return there for vacation.

Casa Lari was great! Andrea was welcoming, communicative and helpful. While Casa Lara is a little way out of San Gimignano, you're likely to have a car anyway and the view from the Pancole hills is lovely. The kitchenette and open fireplace made winter cozy warm. If looking at Google maps, make sure you chose the Casa Lari actually in Pancole, not the one wrongly shown on the San Gimignano - Certaldo road. Salute!

We stayed 6 nights and are very satisfied! We really felt at home in our small but extremely clean,tidy,well-apointed one-room apartment. A relaxing place as a starting point for visiting all these interesting sights in Tuscany. We really enjoyed the surroundings as well.

We stayed in a type "B" apartment, for 4 nights. It has a living room, with a folding bed, a dining table and a kitchenette. The other sleeping room has a kingsize bed and an adjacent balcony. The apartment is very big and spacious. The kitchenette is well equipped, with all you would need for cooking any gourmet Tuscan meal. The real joy is eating it on the balcony, which reveals a panoramic view of vineyards, small villages and olive trees. A real treat! Casa Lari is a very quiet, nice and clean place. It has a private, covered parking, a small pool and a small public area. Be aware that this property is not in San Gimignano, but in Pancole, a few kilometers apart. It is hardly in a walking distance, so a car is advised. Overall, it was a very good stay.

Beautiful apartment, beautiful location, secure parking,convenient for exploring the area. Lovely views from the decks. Unclear from Venere writeup how apartment is configured for 3 people (turned out to be queen bed and sleep sofa in living room.) We opted for the additional bedroom and bath available upstairs which added 20E/night to the rate. Rate was still acceptable, but wish that had been clear from the start.

Everything was just about perfect - from the welcome we received, the apartment, the surroundings (especially the wonderful church in Pancole) and the fabulous view which welcomed us every morning. If we visit Tuscany again we will certainly be staying at Casa Lari.

The views from the terrace were spectacular. Great place to stay and also visit other towns in Tuscany. Casa Lari is definitely a place we would return to.

Fabulous location with exquisite views of Tuscan countryside. Do need a car. Andrea was a very hospitable & helpful host. Apartment was spacious, confortable and well equipped. Would return tomorrow for an extended vacation in quiet, modern, relaxed country environment.

We stayed three nights at Casa Lari, and absolutely loved it! It's only 5 minutes away from the heart of San Gimignano, and it's situated on top of a hill surrounded by olive trees. Absolutely beautiful, and like other reviews - we found the room to be utterly spotless. The basket of breakfast goodies was fine, but we supplemented it with fruit and yogurt. We had a stove-top, a small refrigerator, and tons of utensils and dishes to use - two of the three nights, we bought food from local stores and made our own dinner. The parking was a bit tight, but they're designed for the small cars that Europeans love (they're zippy, if nothing else!). Overall, the property was very well maintained, and quite comfortable. We will definitely consider staying there if we find ourselves in San Gimignano again!

An excellent stop. central to all attractions and stunning views.

Excellent location to relax for a few days. Extremely clean and well kept property. Shows pride of ownership. Located in the country with stunning views of rolling tuscan hills. You need a car to stay here as all towns are at least 5 to 6 km away (San Gimignano). Kitchenette is handy to stock up with snacks.

Web page advertises garage - should state that parking is limited as we were not able to park on the property.

A great place to stay and very handy to everything. Would definitely go back. Only downside is the noise from upstairs when people are moving around - just a bit of a nuisance.

Ambiente gradevolissimo, accogliente, curato fin nei minimi particolari, dotazione di cucina completa, ampio garage. Il cestino della prima colazione è ricco ed abbondante. L'accoglienza è stata quasi familiare ma discreta. San Gimignano è a cinque chilometri, Certaldo a sette, un po' di più Monteriggioni, Colle Val d'Elsa, e poi Siena. Piancole, dove si trova casa Lari, è sulla via Francigena ed un punto di partenza molto comodo per conoscere la Toscana interna. Un buon ristorante è a due passi. Ci piacerebbe tornare.

This hotel was our best stay while in Italy. The owner Andrea Lari was extremely hospitable and addressed all our needs. This hotel is very well maintained. The rooms are very spacious with a very large bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The view is amazing. A few minutes outside San Gimingano this is a great location from which to explore the area. We will definitely be returning.

L'accueil a été très chaleureux. La famille Lari est vraiment très sympathique et attentionnée. Nous avons trouvé le logement très propre et confortable. La résidence est très calme et située dans un très bel environnement, à deux pas de San Gimignano. Nous avions une vue sensationnelle sur la campagne Toscane. Nous avons été très satisfaits de cette location et la recommandons vivement.

Excellent place...family of 4, great accomodations but a bit far from nearest town...definitely need a car to go around. Price was good....Recommend to anybody.

A super clean and cute property. Much nicer than it looked in the photographs and the view from the room is superb. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is located in a nice quiet village. I would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Tuscany and would love to stay here again.

This hotel was truely the highlight of our vacation. Everything about the place was perfect, from the welcoming we received from the Lari family to the apartments themselves. The Lari family makes sure that every detail is perfect and their loving attention shows in everything. (Everything was so immaculate that we were nervous about making coffee and dirtying the kitchen!) In addition, the views from each apartment have to be the most beautiful in Tuscany. Do not hesitate to book this hotel - you will not be sorry!

Excellent location for touring holiday in Tuscany, ideal location as a base for all the major tourist areas such as Florence and Sienna etc. The staff were wvery friendly and provided information on local activities

A little off the main roads but very nice facility. Fantastic view of olive groves and vineyards. Manager very helpful.
