Vacation Rental Geranio - Rovinj

Studio Geranio is a cosy compact apartment in the heart of Rovinj, up a very quiet street, surrounded by locals. The access is daunting - three flights of narrow staircases one without a hand rail which would not suit everyone. The double futon is directly underneath the beams so you have to crawl into bed. The apartment is air conditioned and has pleasant outlooks from both windows of rooftops and sounds from a local school. We enjoyed our stay, given it's lack of sophistication, the apartment was very much part of the local landscape which made it A1 as far as we were concerned.

No bed, just a mattress on a lath floor because the roof of this converted attic was so low. we had to move the mattrass in the middle of the room as not to bang our heads whch meant climbing over it when we wanted to reach the stairs. well... stairs? rather a kind of ladder. 3 ladder-like flights of stairs, almost impossible to navigate with luggage, the small space in front of the studio`s door is stuffed with things. Don`t take it if you`re not young, skinny and adventurous. And: if you don`t like the studio, you don`t get back event parts of the deposit (1/3) The studio itself was freshly renovated and clean but not the staircase. And you have to leave open the door of the bath cum toilet (about 2m²) otherwise the toilet stinks. The shower is so small, that you tend to bang your elbows when rinsing your hair.

A very nice studio ideal for couples. Stylishly furnished, the studio in the old town area of Rovinj is a good base for exploring the narrow streets of the town. Studio pictures published on the website are credible - Geranio is an attic apartment, yet big enough even for a longer stay and very charming, with kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Weather was breezy in March but the heating in the studio did a very good job. We loved every minute of our stay in comfortable Geranio and would return anytime.

First visit to Rovinj, was not initially planned but very glad we went there. Lovely appartment in old town, easy stroll to great restaurants & just to explore the beautiful alleyways of old Rovinj. Need to be fit to get luggage up very steep stairs & roof very low over bed, but really a lovely place to stay

The relationship price/quality is good but the price should include at least breakfast!

The photo's on the site don't show that the ceiling is very low, so half the room can't be used. Especially if your tall. Same problem in the shower. Location was very good though, close to the city.

We enjoyed our stay in Rovinj very much. the apartment suited our needs excellently, we were very much in the centre of the old town and had only a short walk to all the facitlities including the harbour.

Very close to the town centre. Good sized apartment and well equipped. Be aware that the apartment is at attic level so there are quite steep steps up and may not be suitable to all. Staff were friendly and helpful although be aware that if you need to leave before 7am then you have to pay a €10 surcharge for it being "out of hours".

A pleasant studio close to the restaurants and other facilities of the old peninsula town. Beware of the very steep stairs leading up this attic studio!
