Residence Villa Tassoni - Rome

We stayed here for one week. The staff was extremely helpful and provided all the assistance that we needed. The building is a bit of a walk to the subway but then you can just get around very quickly. Buy the day or week passes for transit and it will make your life easy and besides its cheap. The room we were in was smaller than we thought and the cooking facilities need more pots and pans etc. Our room was fairly quiet which allowed us to sleep in. Laundry facilities were good except the machine broke down from someone washing there shoes! The pizza restaurant and the small restaurant around the corner were excellent. We went often and enjoyed all our meals. There is a supermarket that is close to the subway and there you can purchase cheap wine and all the things you need. I have seen people say that the neighbourhood was not the best. There is alot of graffitee in Italy and it is all over the place. The area was safe and there were no issues. We only used the subway and no bus but all that walking really got us in shape.

Very good location, near to metro - 10 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus. Very nice surroundings, quiet quartier, beautiful old and new villas on the road above the villa, marvellous park and panaroma on top of the hill. Shops and restaurants at little distance. Spatious room (the studio), kichinette very useful. Warm water at any hour, due to boiler. Nice and helpful employees, always ready to asist with information. Internet available. Negatives: there is only fix douche, no mobile available. The bed was not plain, the 2 matrisses colapsed in the middle in a deep hole, rather difficult to sleep.
