Visited in May 2012. The flats are in a handy location for touring the old city, however the area looked a little run down. It's about 15 minutes walk to the Colosseo. Angelo welcomed us and gave us good tips for travelling around. It was awkward having to walk down the block for breakfast, rather than having it in the same building. The breakfast is only a coffee or tea & croissant, anything extra you have to pay for - good if you're on a diet :)) They could have added a 2nd croissant for an extra few bob. The furniture is old and the flat was a little odorous, which didn't bother us really, but for what they charge, you would expect hotel standard in cleanliness. Flats on the 3rd floor - steps, so just be aware there is no elevator. Squeaky bed!! :))) Worth a good laugh though. The antique posters were lovely and created a nice atmosphere, but in general it felt a bit like a student hostel - so if you in general prefer hotels, you may not be too keen on this. Suitable for backpackers and younger couples. There is soap and towels provided, but you need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo etc. There is a limited amount of hot water, so you're kindly asked to take "brave" showers :))

Nice welcoming and nice clean, quiet rooms, nicely situated in the city, close to the trainstation and the metro. Only the bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast at a café, is nice with friendly people helping you, but it is a little breakfast compared to Belgian Standard Breakfasts.

Great place, it´s like a department. Good location, near the subway. It´s far from the downtown, so there are just a few businesses around the hotel, and everything is closed at night, but it´s safe and you can take the subway and go to the downtown in 10 min aprox.

The staff there are really nice, they helped us to add money in our phone because its in italian... they try their best to help. Each night comes with free breakfast. you get a croissant and coffee from the coffee shop nearby, its really good =) The location is easy access to attractions by walk or metro is few minutes walk ;)

Very well, correspond to what we expected. Nothing to tell, specially acording to the price. Well located (near the suburb). Good welcoming. The breakfast is correct, still acording the price. We recommend.

We love Rome, we've been visiting over 10 years. This place is exactly what you need to explore the city on a budget. Clean, central, quiet and affordable. No good if you don't like stairs (no lift) but great if you appreciate a good bed after a long day.

I want to keep this quiet because quite honestly, this is a bit of a gem. You are handy for the Termini and the underground. We found no problem getting around at all, although the best way to do Rome is by foot. The room is just fantastic and it's like having your own Roman apartment. The area is not great, and at night it could be a little spooky. However, we encountered no trouble at all, there is just a general feeling of the local area being rundown. Please don't let that put you off this apartment. The owner is delightful and the room spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water and clean towels, even a hairdryer. Only one thing to improve it would be a kettle in the room! The apartment is easy to find, approx 10 minute walk with cases from the Termini! There is of course the underground which would take you to within 2-3 mins of the front door. The breakfast is provided in a nearby cafe which is about 1 minute from your door, the owners there are absolutely lovely and so helpful. The breakfast is small by British standards, but this is Rome!! Coffee and filled pastry, very yum. We loved watching the comings and goings whilst having our morning Coffee. The local shops under the nearby walkway do excellent take out pizzas, and the cafe opposite the underground underpass is open very very early if you are up and about. It is also a very reasonably priced area compared to the Vatican area, where I would recommend buying your coffee actually inside the Vatican!! Far cheaper!!

The place was a good place to stay, we changed rooms because of the outside noise from the street below. It was noisy! But after changing it was more quit for us. The breakfast was outside the door in a nice small restaurant, but the offer there was not enough for us. We are used to have a bigger breakfast and not only 1 piece of bread and 1 coffee. This was the only disadvantage.

Vacanze Romane 2 is a simple B&B in Rome. Starting at this point it gives conciderly a good placing, acomodation and expierince for the price you pay. It's in walking distance from "everywhere", there is a Metro station near by, the place is clean, there is an air condition and the hot water is hot. Byside the cofy & croason (that is called in Italy "braekfast") you can make for yourself for free along the day a good esspreso and above all the ouner, Lucca, is a very nice, plesent and helpfull when needed.

My best friend and me,. we have spent a very wonderful and fun holiday in Rome,. overall because we have been very satisfied about our B&B's choice: a pretty place clean, well-appointed and with a very nice and amenable householder!

I'm afraid we have to complaint regarding several points: - This is not a bed-and-breakfast, It is a flat converted into a mini-hotel. Nobody lives here, nobody is there to provide any kind of service - Breakfast service is quite unusual: no breakfast in house. Tickets provided to drink a capucino and eat a corneto in the nearest bar (which is closed on Sundays by the way) - The owner never showed except when leaving and he asked to be paid cash only :-( - The pictures of the rooms were actually much nicer than reality :-) - Bathroom and electrical installation are not what you would expect in a developped country - Location is quite convenient: not fart from downtown, train and tube.railstation We love Italy and will come back soon but we will for sure stay somewhere else :-)

5 traumhaft schöne Tage in Rom verbracht - Dank Veneere.

Most things were positive; the room was clean and spacious enough. Getting the luggage up to the 4th floor with no lift was a problem. It was disappointing that the promised breakfast provisions for the Sunday did not appear, but otherwise we were satisfied with the stay.

Positive: on our last day, we could leave our luggage in a free room till departure - 17.00 hours. negative: no breakfast on Sunday, only a basket with some cookies and a can of orange juice. breakfast is in a bar opposite the B&B - no place to sit.
