First of all the property is very near to the center of rome, 50 m from metro and bus station which will take you to city center in 5-10 min.the location is quiet and very safe, located in a flat with offices.the room has a 80s style furniture with a little kitchen that has all you need for cooking located in the living room, folding couch and separate bedroom.it should be cleaner considering that you pay extra 30 euros for cleaning..the main disadvantage is that the bathroom is connected to the bedroom only, so 4 people will use one bathroom and 2 will have to go via the bedroom to get there.that s why i would recommend this apartment to families with children.great price, it costs about the same as a 3 star double room so good deal overall.

Rooms are ok despite the walls wich are a bit dirty. Two main problems are : - 30 extra euros for cleaning which are already on the invoice and you have no choice to say no. this is not mentioned on the web page. - very poor quietness of rooms due to location on a very noisy avenue and very thin walls in between the neighbour's appartment and this one but the kitchenette was very convenient and other things ok.

The man who received us didn't talk English well. The A/C was not working at arrival, We requested to be fixed. They did, but still the A/C was very low. Then we found out that the A/C was disconnected everynight, When we complaint, the man explained that they have a Central A/C for the whole building and provide us with 2 fans. The 1st night the door of the shower fell down. The next day to girs came to fix i but wass a temporal matter. Bathroom door had no nob (Broken). The smell was dumpy, the covers of the sofabed were not clean. We requested to change the appartment they said they will do so, then they said there is not other available. The only good thing was the surroundings and very near to the Metro station.

We enjoyed our stay - the flat was well positioned and we were able to travel around the city easily. The flat was very comfortable and adequate although a little shabby and the facilities provided could have been better. There was a tv but it was not tuned in! The doors were falling off the cupboard that had the cooker etc. The fridge did not work. The cooking area was very poor and there was only just enough cutlery, plates and utensils. It would have been much better if there had been a microwave in addition to the other stuff.

Good location - 20 min walk to Coliseum and easy connection to metro. One of the lowest prices for an apartment we found. However, the apartment was not very clean, small, the kitchenette was not well equipped and air conditioning was manifestly insufficient for hot Rome summer days. Hot water was out after each shower, and another family member should had waited for a half an hour for it to warm up again.

The hotel's idea of a "2 bedroom apartment" is a single bedroom with a sleeper sofa in the extremely cramped living area. The sleeper sofa was broken, so sleep was difficult. Additionally, the walls are very thin (and thus the rooms are noisy) and the locks did not work properly. The staff, if they were there, was at a loss on how to help with check-in or explaining the check-out policy. Their primary concern was getting the money up front for the stay, plus a surprise $30 cleaning fee. There are much better options for staying in Rome, both in terms of affordability and amenities, than St. Joannes.

Aire condicionado con poca potencia. Refrigerador funcionaba mal. Hacia mucho hielo y enfriaba poco. Faltaban elementos básicos de cubertería. Armario ocupado, parecía el almacén de servicio. Mala situación del baño

Tina was very kind, as well as her collegue who asited us. However I have to say that the hot water was not working on the third day (out of 4), and that no one told us how to put the gas on, so we had to phone them to come and show us.

There is no real kitchen (it is a cupboard), and the equipment is quite poor (e.g. only 2 glasses, although we were 4 people), but for a short stay (we were there 5 days) it's ok.

Those 4 days I’ve spent there with my wife and another two friends were excellent. The location is very easy to find, exactly 30 m from the metro station San Giovanni and in a good building, near by shops/supermarkets/coffee shops, etc. In max. 10 min you can reach the center of Rome and is 15 min away walking from Coliseum. For those who like to visit a lot rather than spending time in the apartment I strongly recommend this location: is very clean, quite, well located and so on.

Our trip was very good. The appartement was near a bus station (15 min to Rome center) and near the metro station too. The appartement was clean. But it was very small (photos are quite cheating). It was ok for tow persons but more, it would have been difficult. So, this flat was great for the price (75e in rome!!!)

First of all the lady does not speak one word in esglish so to get directions is imposible i had to asked an italian soldier to translate for me since we were running late and i was afraid that she was going to leave the please or at least to leave the key underneath the doormat, the soldier was kind enough to translate for me his english was just good enough to do that, when we got there there is no signs no street number absolutely nothing since apartments are on top of building offices and it was passed business hours the only place was open was the chocolate store and they were closing already, they were able to call her on the phone so she could come and get us, we only saw her once that day she collected the money and the next day she left a note telling us when we were ready to check out to leave the apartment key inside... the metro station is just a few steps but everything else is far so you have to take metro back and forth, good thing there is a park close by and a supermarket which you can buy your goods for breakfast and dinner, McDonnalds is just a block away, and badly our american money is not welcome at any store in Europe not even american franchise McDonalds five years ago our dollars were welcome anywhere in europe not mention around the world but now is just down the drain....Mr Bush is time to do something, i spoke to some italians and they dont like our PResident Bush but like Americans they feel sorry for us...

Good location near to hystoric monuments and subway. Need to have a clear address It is not easy get to that building since St Jone name appear only on small letter at the entrance. Have phone contact working for non working hours arrivals. Air conditioning never work even they mentioned that it shold start working at 10PM. Need personnel bi-language (Italian + English). Does not expect have service available on the building.

Well placed for metro station to city. Two supermarkets near by, one open Sundays and public holidays. Guy on cheese counter could speak some English. A couple of restaurants near - we did'nt try them - and a pizza take out. Air-con in one room only, would have been great to have it in both. Taxi from airport, Campiano, just dumped us at street junction. Luckily the owner came and found us, to which we are very thankful to them. We were a family of 4, with two pre-teens, we all lked the apartment. TV was good, a flat screen, but reception poor-to-good. Cooking, sink and fridge all in a cupboard - so you would'nt cook a 4-course meal (2 rings only).

Good location away from main tourist area, but still within walking distance of the colesium, etc. Metro stop with in a few meters was very nice. Very good restaraunts near by. The rooms could have been cleaner, but they are apartments and not regular lodging rooms. The office is hard to find (up one flight from the street and buzz the office). Contacting them was confusing at first but all was good after that.

There were no one who could help us when the electricity went out. so we could'nt cook our meal. there telephone numbers are invalid and you don't know where you're at when you arrive at the adress shown on the reservation papers. brief, it's not well organise. althougt, the room was clean and the facilities in it were all new. very noisy in the morning due to the traffic on appia nuova street.

Very nice rooms. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for us (couple with teenage girls). Nice host, although it was a challenge to communicate since he do not speak English, and we not Italian. Only disadvantage: We should have been able to adjust the AC ourself.

The apartment is clean and is provided with plenty of clean towels. However, two things need to be fixed immediately: hot water is barely enough for 1 person's shower and the key to the room--it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to unlock the door. A supermarket is about three blocks away. The metro and the bus stop is very conveniently accessible.

In general this accommodation was like expected and is a good compromise for a family with young children. The additional charge of 30€ for end cleaning which is not mentioned in venere was known of the other comments so it was not surprising for us. One problem for foreign visitors is that the main people in the office speak only Italian (neither English nor for example German. We had some bigger problems with a broken entrance door (because the previous tenant had broken its key). The landlord as well as the madam in the office was not very cooperative but at the end after some discussions with the translation help of a young employee we came to an agreement.

They could not speak English, so there was no such thing like service. They could not arrange for a taxi also for dropping to airport & we had a tough time finding one early in the morning as taxi service also coudnt spk English. The escalator doesnt work so u have to lift the bags to the 1st floor. Rooms were very small & cramped. Only advantage was it was close to Metro station. Overall very bad experience.

This is the ideal place for a value for money stay in Rome. The location is by the very efficient metro, therefore you can get to the Colloseum in fifteen minutes. The apartment is basic, but exactly what you need if you intend to be out sightseeing. It looks onto a quiet square. so you don't get the noise from the main road. The one problem we had was finding the apartment when we arrived. In the block there's 40 - 50 apartments, and you need to phone the owner (not clear, and the porter wasn't too happy to be woken by us!) The owner's English wasn't too good, but they were helpful, for example finding somewhere for us to store our luggage on the last day. The nearest supermarket is five minutes walk on the roundabout. Very near the apartment is a chocolate shop that was frankly amazing - a good challenge for chocoholics is to finish a whole mug of hot chocolate!

Excellent Apartment. Very conveniently located next to San Giovanni Metro station. Some major attractions within walking distance. Very clean and brand new interior. A bit cramped with 2 teenagers. But we were only using it for sleeping at night. Small but well equipped kitchennet. Only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night. We never used the AC but a brand new unit was installed. We arrived at 2 am yet the owner took the pains to meet us and sort out all the issues. Maps were provided.

We were 4 adults and the apartment was very fine. Big sofabed and very new apartment and furniture. Clean towels included. The apartment windows turn away from road, so very quiet and safe place. It lies 30 meters away from Metro and only 2 stops to termini station, so very easy to get to apartment when arriving with luggage. It is only 10-15 minutes by foot to colloseum. Only down-side is that the owners do not speak english so communication is bad. Also that there are many doorbells at number 37. So you also need to get apartment number, ours where number 311, so press that to contact owners. Overall very much recomendable!!! :)

The apartment is clean, modern, quiet and well furnished. We were 4 adults (2 couples), so 1 couple had to sleep on the sofa bed which was comfortable. The apartment is a bit too small for 4 adults, but for the price it is more than OK. The location is great, you have metro station and bus stop on the corner. The kitchen is equipped, so you can make your own breakfast and/or dinner to save a few more euros. Keep in mind that you have to pay an additional charge of 30 euros for the cleaning. This is mentioned somewhere on Venere, but we did not noticed it, so it was a surprise! This is a good value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again.

The appartment was excellent. We were two adults and two adolescent kids in the appartment. The price/quality ratio was exactly what we expected. It is a quiet appartment (especially on Rome level!), sitated in a new office building. The building and the surrounding is extremely safe and pleasant. Metro station is about 50m from the appartment, bus lines 85 and 87 stop almost in front of the house and brings you to Colosseum, Forum Romanum and Piazza Venezia. Take a look at the selves below the TV, you will find some useful kitchen things, which you don't have to buy like: sugar, salt, etc.
