Via Marche was a good location on the edge of the center but benefitted from being quieter than the central locations. Extra space in an apartment compared with a hotel room was very welcome. Staff were always very friendly but their English not particularly good. Didn't matter to us but don't expect hotel reception type of service for making bookings, etc. Only had breakfast in the apartment. Larger meals would not be too easy. Two ringed cooker with no oven or grill. Small supermarket is very close and many reasonable non-tourist restaurants within easy walking distance. We generally walked to venues but took metro to St Peters. St Peters and Vatican museum were the highlights. Trastavere a pleasant divertion from too much culture. Most venues are quite close to each other and pleasant walking distance when tepmeratures were only in the low 20s C. Rome is an expensive location so apartment was probably relatively reasonable compared with lower - mid range hotels.

I was in Rome for a 6 days holiday. The location is very good with the surronding with a lot of options of restaurant and grocery market. Coliseum was a little far from here (3KM), but you have Metro station or buses all the time and Rome has cheap public transportation. I want just to notice that the room doesn't have a welcome package (tea, coffee and cooking), and cleaning products to wash plates and pans or iron. They were very kind to wash the baby clothes with the bedding.

It was a good little apartment for a one week stay and, as indicated, in a good, and safe part of the city. Looked at some other apartments in busier areas and south of the River and was very pleased to have elected for this one! Decor and fittings pretty much okay if not A1. Considered good value for money and would use again; always the acid test. Management and staff always helpful even though I have no Italian and the English varied. Would recommend to a friend.

The apartment location is very safe and relatively convenient by being away from popular tourist spots where large groups gather. The building is occupied by local residents and the apartment offered is the only one in the building that is rented for short terms. The apartment is a good size for a one bedroom although the kitchen is small with a two burner electric stove and an under the counter refridgerator. It is not practical to do more than simple cooking and meals here. The one bedroom has a large firm bed and a lot of storage space. We were unable to get the television in the bedroom and living room to work. There is no available internet in the apartment but a public computer is available in the reception area on the ground floor that has internet available. As previous reviewers noted there is an odor in the stairway but the apartment is free of unusual odors. Although I would recommend this apartment to others my wife felt that the sparse kitchen and non functioning televisions make it not recommended. The price charged for this location I believe is very fair even with those shortcomings.

Very nice recommendable apartment, excellent location; parallel to famous Via Veneto and only a 10 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps. Excellent price/quality relationship. Supermarket closeby, nice little bar in the street for fresh coffee and panini for regular prices. The apartment is more spacious than photo's can show. One bedroom with a (firm) double bed and a large closet, little kitchen with 2 electrical cooking plates and a fridge (very nice: coffee and tea were available in the closets when we arrived!), bathroom with an excellent shower, toilet and bidet and a reasonably-sized living room with table and sleeping couch. Two tv's (one in bedroom), stereo and dvd; looked great, but we couldn't get them to work. It didn't bother us either, so we never asked reception. Hospitable reception, 24 hours available, friendly female owner. Not everyone speaks English as well, but they try and so did we in Italian, which is very much appreciated. Apartment is reasonably quiet, adjacent to the inner courtyard. It can be a little noisy when it rains or when people are talking in the court yard, but not too bad and you can close windows and shutters.

After 28 days stay we can never say that we would like to use this accommodation Rome 103 on the next visit of Rome as well. Reasons: the familial service staff don't want to repair broken lights and unfixed cock without screws, comes in without knock, reserves their friend as taxi that demands more than usual. Briefly said, they are unreliable. Besides, to pay in cash is inconvenient for long-stayer. At least there must be a safe.

In general, this is a good quiet place to stay not so far from main attractions even though staying closer would be much better but surely more expensive. Concierge is gentile and eager to help when needed. Kitchenette is perfect and well equiped to prepare breakfast. Bathroom is spacious enough, and it has a Clothes Washing Machine available. Internet is not available in Room but in the small lobby. Elevator is too small and sometimes doesn't work. There is a bad odor in the corridor but apart from that, in general this place has a good price/quality relationship compared to other alternatives in this area. Next time (if we get to Rome again) we may try a place closer to Termini Train Station towards Via Cavour.

Reserved room was not ready (no maid service) so we were put in another room. We moved back to the original room the next day. There was a lot of confusion with the staff, some of which was language related. We were required to pay in cash whereas I had expected to be able to pay with a credit card. It was, however, a good property in a great location.

I wanted a place to stay that was in the Via Veneto area as my son works at the US Embassy. The Rome103 apartment was perfect based on location and price. The apartment had all the basic features that we needed. I would highly recommend others to stay here.

We were wery pleasently suprised when we came to the hotell, the apartment was well planed so we had no problem rooming three adults (during five days) in there. The hotel was wery easy acess to Rome and it´s historical sites. As it comes to the pictures on the website, the place was better in reality, it look exatly like the pictures but it was more spacious. It was worth every cent.

Would not look anywhere else if I had to stay in Rome again. Travelled with my wife and seven year old. Space was perfect for the cost. It was our home away from home, not for those who look for traditional hotel type stays but would stay again without question. Nearby supermarket allowed to us to cook on two evenings as we were getting tired of dining out. A great stay and fond memories.
