Very good except the rooms without fan are quite stuffy without opening the window. We didn't feel safe opening the window at the first night but we couldn't take it at the 2nd and it's much better then.

The location is very good, the lady owner is very nice, she charge you when you come and you dont see her again. Good things: location, nice restaurants all around, big apartment, 2 bathrooms. Bad things: the mattress in main bedroom is bad. Not enough towels, very old kitchen,no place to leave your luggage if you fly later than check out.Overall it served us fine.

Wonderful location Best in Rome Minor electrical issues that were resolved the next day. Apartment sleeps 6 in 3 double beds rather than 2 double beds and 2 single beds. Possible language difficulties, otherwise a perfect choice for an extended stay in Rome. Collosseo 10 mins walk, supermarket 3 mins walk, very safe area Suggest CAREFUL clarification of exact facilities before making booking

Location is superb. Great restaurant on the corner. Furnishings, linen, towels all a little tatty. A little noisy (early morning) when we were there - building work going on next door next door, other than that quiet for such a central location. Would recommend for a short break.

a wonderful place to stay to discover rome, we did everything on foot. so nice to start every day by walking by the colosseum as if it were the most normal thing in the world. one of the two beds should be replaced and some minor repairs should be done ... from a dutch point of view :-) as everything actually worked fine. opening the windows in the morning we were welcomed by an italian atmosphere. certainly to be recommended, a place with a very warm welcome.

The appartement was well situated, unfortunately no heating, the building was quite noisy due to people leaving at early hours, the kitchen was OK(bread knife didn't cut, needs to be sharpened, pans handles need to mended)if not the rest was fine. We might come back someday, and I would recommend it to friends.

We loved this place. It was easy to find and we had someone waiting for us who was really helpful after a long journey with two kids. The living area was huge and really nice to sit in after a day out walking the streets. The bedrooms were fine and the bathrooms clean. The kitchen was only slightly down on the rest of the apartment but i'm possibly being a bit picky. In general it was great. The location was great. 200 meters from the Colosseum Metro and 100 meters from the actual Colosseum. The area was very friendly with two shops really close which had all we needed for food. The resteraunts around the block were again very friendly and really reasonable. I would recommend this place for any friend or family if they wanted to take a trip to Rome. Many thanks for letting us stay, we really enjoyed it.

The apartment is confortable and spacious for a a family of 4 (2 children 13 and 11), though notice that there are only two bedrooms with a double bed each. The cleanliness of the apartment is a little below average, specially the kitchen. This is more striking because there is an extra of 25 euros over the price for cleaning. The apartment is quiet though the neighbors above make some noise when they get up to go to work every morning. Important: You have to pay in cash the full price of your stay when you arrive. The apartment is perfectly located to go to the Colosseum and to the Forum. However is not so convenient to go to downtown (Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, ..). For those places you have either to take quite long walks or to use the subway or buses.

Very clean, quiet, spacious apartment. There was a cleaning fee that I don't recall being mentioned when I made the reservation. There is no phone and no internet access. Apart from that, excellent value. Very convenient and quiet location. Everything was comfortable and clean.

We loved it at the Elena. My wife & I & our teenage children spent 3 nights and were very impressed with the quality of the apartment. We loved how the colosseum was just out the front. The two supermarkets were so handy for food and the chap behind the counter at the nearest one spoke english which was useful. We'd come from Paris & needed some rest time so this was just perfect. Plenty of room, comfy furniture, big bath. Would definitely stay there again.

Visit particularly the Palatino right behind the Colosseo. One ticket together with Colosseo and Foro Romano EUR11. Note that reductions for children etc. are available only for EU-citizens, thus have an ID with you! (our kids having double citizenship Japan / Germany had to pay full price.) Warm welcome by the staff.

9 days. Met Elena. Spoke with Carlo. We really appreciated your assistance helping us find lost luggage and being a contact for Alitalia. Also appreciated adjusting the heat, which made a big difference, quality of linens and bedding, and ample supply of towels for bathroon. Could have used towels and sponges for kitchen and there were a number of light bulbs that were out. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and service.

Overall stay was enjoyed and owners were pleasant and helpful. In the heart of historic Rome literally 100 meters from Coloseum. Not centrally located but were able to walk to most sightseeing. Apartment was sometimes noisy, particularly weekends with people leaving and entering in the middle of the night. Apartment has kitchen, not pictured on website. We were family of 6 and we were able to cook in kitchen but it is very outdated. Kitchen and bathrooms need to be renovated. Oven did not function and microwave was small. Pots and pans need to be replaced - could not use some items. Apartment was not professionally cleaned - maintained by owners. Would have expected better ammenities for price, but location was good.

A lovely apartment situated perfectly for experiencing Rome! Look down the street and see the Coloseo! Such fun to be staying so near to ancient Rome. Lovely restaurants, groceries, fresh fruit and veggies and gelato shops are right in the neighborhood. The location is a bit noisy because it's in a lively area, but not an issue for fun-loving vacationers. The apartment is bright and spacious. Highly recommended!
