We were greeted when we arrived by Francesco. He is very helpful individual and took the time to answer all our questions about the best restaurants, food markets, etc. The apartment has all the amenities we needed and the you can not beat the location. It is the middle of the historic center with plenty of very good restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is located on the 5 floor with no elevator. This was not an issue with us but may be for people with phisical challenges. I would definetely stay again if in Rome again.

Francesco was a wonderful host and very welcoming. The location is also excellent! Good views come at a price, so be prepared to climb stairs. Cute apartment, but the upstairs room has a wooden beam that is located very low (we realise that this is because it is the top floor) but just be aware that if you are over 5'4" you are sure to bang your head at least once. Unfortunately the bathroom also has an air freshener (old plumbing doesn't smell the greatest, I assume) that is not in the best location and if you are standing too long getting ready you are sure to be sprayed. The heating and outside noise is very loud, so it can be difficult to get a good nights sleep. Someone chose to ring our outside bell (insistingly) two days in a row at 8:45, which was not very good either. Checkout is 10am!! However, Francesco was very kind and allowed us to keep our luggage at the apartment until the next group arrived just before 2pm, which was very helpful as dragging luggage around Rome can be a challenge. We were very grateful as we were not leaving until later in the day.

Great place, central to most sites, just a quick walk to Piazza Navona and great gelato. No elevator, so you need to be relatively fit to make it to the 5th floor, and don't forget anything when you leave in the morning! But well worth it, and as we walked 5 miles each day in Rome anyway, a little slog up stairs made no real difference. The apartment had an odor from the toilet that was pretty bad when we arrived, but it was addressed somewhat very quickly by the owner, and the remaining odor was not all that noticeable and could be overlooked. Great views of the rooftops and nearby cathedral. For those not seeking hotel luxury, a fine base for your Rome adventure.

This was a great apartment for a family staying in the centre of old Rome. The apartment was full of character and was a wonderful alternative to a charmless hotel room. Easy to get around in the surrounding pedestrian zone, with many restaurants nearby. The owner and agent were friendly and helpful. Be prepared for the stairs!

We stayed at Via dei Coronari 45 in the 1-bedroom apartment. This unit is in an ideal location, near Piazza Navona, and worked out great for us with our two older teenage sons. One bedroom upstairs for us and a sofa with pull out trundle bed for the boys. There was plenty of space and you didn’t feel you were tripping over each other. I would stay in the 1-bedroom or 2-bedroom apartment again without hesitation and would highly recommend this to anyone. Just be advised there are 85 steps up to the apartment (no lift). After a few trips up and down we got used to the steps and it provided us the opportunity to enjoy a little more pasta while getting a little workout climbing the stairs to the apartment :) The owner, Francesco was also very helpful and friendly to deal with. Can’t wait to return!

The apartment has a great location in the centre of Rome within walking distance of major attractions. The apartment was clean, quite and suited a family with two teenagers. However, the stairs gives some exercise. Generally I will defenitely recommend this apartment.

The place is a little flat on the top floor of a building on a quiet street in the centre of the city with a view of the rooftops of Rome. It has good facilities and is close enough to many of the classic tourist attractions, so I would certainly recommend it anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodations in the Rome.

We stayed at the Coronari in June 2009. It is a beautiful location on a quiet cobblestone street. The 4 flights of stairs kept us fit! The apartment was clean and spacious with lovely views across the rooftops. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Coronari as two couples. The place was well located and as advertised. About 12 euro in a cab from termini so very easy. The street it is on is quite narrow though, and not a major road. We were happy with our choice, rooms were quiet and facilities good. Owner speaks english and was prompt and helpful. Our only gripe was the shower stall was a bit tacky. Open stairs to upper bedroom would not suit some, and yes there are a lot of stairs to the apartment. We would stay here again.

We have stayed in other apts in Piazza Navona and this location is superb. The apt lists as two bedrooms...however, one bedroom is an open loft. Not much privacy if two couples are staying. Also, the second bedroom has 2 small cot like beds in it and no place to hang clothes. We were provided with one towel per person for the entire stay...and the dryer was not working. Beware..there are 80 steps going up to the apt...which is fine if you are fit. Also, the beam that runs through the loft is splitting and has a very sharp pieces protruding from it...we hit our heads on it numerous times…dangerous for most adults. All this said you can't beat the location, great for sites, walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and the Vatican. The price was great. Not a 5 star hotel..you get what you pay for.

It was a very nice (quite) appartment in the middle of the centre of Rome. Everything was nearby and we had a wonderful week in Rome. It could not be better.

Spacious and well equipped apartment with an excellent location. Perfect for families or small groups up to 5 persons. Only major complaint is uncomfortable beds in lower bedroom. Would imagine that upper bedroom gets very hot in the summer months (air conditioning didn't seem to work). Perhaps it would be good to mention in the presentation that there is no elevator to the apartment which is on the 4th floor.
