Vacation Rental Camilla - Rome

Apartment 4 pers: bedroom OK. A room too small with bunk beds and the table, without cupboard space. Shower space nice. Kitchen with the bare essentials. The very positive point: the beautiful green terrace where we ate, but it's a public aera (we were alone). Lot of noise with the avenue. No shopkeppers close to. Transports not easy.

Hotel très éloigné du centre ville et des commerces, mais très bien desservi par les transports en commun; Compter au moins 30' de bus pour la place d'Espagne ... Coin cuisine très succinct, pas de four, pas de micro onde, très très peu de vaisselle , Terrasse spacieuse et agréable.

This was the first time we stayed at this B&B. We were in the appartment for 6 persons. It was spacious enough for all the 3 couples but to go to one of the bedrooms, you have to go thru the main bedroom. The advantage of this appartment is the fact that we had a small kitchen to do our own food. It is a 15 minutes walk to the Tiburtina metro/train station. If we go back to Rome, we might try to go more in the center of the attraction than the quarter where this B&B is.

Italians don´t eat breakfast like we in scandinavia. Rekommenderar inte varken hotell eller fruksot.

Io ci sono stato per una sola notte insieme alla mia ragazza e devo dire che ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene.Le camere sono pulite,ampie e fornite di angolo cottura con fornelli e lavello.Il bagno è privato ma è decisamente troppo piccolo e farsi una doccia è un'impresa.Il personale è cordiale ed accogliente e la colazione è accettabile.La zona e' un po' fuori dal centro,molto trafficata,ma vi si arriva facilmente con la metro B, scendendo alla stazione Tiburtina.Unica nota veramente stonata: il riscaldamento.Nonostante fosse acceso (eravamo a metà dicembre) la stanza era freddissima!!Nel complesso lo consiglierei a chi ha esigenza di una breve permanenza a Roma,solo per la notte (durante il giorno,a causa di lavori in corso,c'e' parecchio rumore) e non vuole spendere molto.

Mi sono trovato benissimo La struttura è pulita, confortavole e ben arredata. Inoltre la via privata consente una maggiore tranquillità durante la notte. Il personale è gentile. Posso solo dare un commento positivo. La prossima volta che torno a Roma, credo che scegliero di nouvo questa locazione

Charming place, to recommend. Bus station 30 meters from the BB. Nice people, we loved our room. It was very clean when we arrived, but we would have appreciated to receive fresh towels and a cleaning of the bathroom at least every second day. The breakfast was not very good, but we would have eaten in the city anyway. All in all: probably the best BB in Rome for this price. If the coin in Fontana di Trevi proves to be right, we'll book againg at Camilla's.

City guide

Camilla offered an appartement with two rooms, there was only one room with kitchen,toilet and shower - but there were no dishes, even no cup or spoon. It was not even possible to prepare a breakfast. We had to pay cash at arriving, no trust at all!

Good location, relatively quiet, very secure. Room was o.k., shower, little kitchen, so you are not bound to take all meals outside. Only one problem: not so easy to contact the owner during your staying time.

The hotel as such is in a small side-alley of a large road "close" to Bologna metro station. As such the "hotel" is not distinguishable, the name is nowhere written, there is no reception. It is rather a number of nicely refurbished small single-room flats with a small kitchenette -- rooms are rented to long-term guests (I guess workers) and, if rooms are unoccupied, to tourists. There is no service, or reception as such, but the land-owner and his employee are nice. The way payment was strange: we had to pay in cash caution money up-front (150,- Euro), which we got back when checking out. Also the rent had to be paid in cash at arrival.
