We booked the Aurelia Residence San Pietro after researching the web and customers reviews of their stay here. We were not disappointed. All of the staff were very helpful and on the first evening reception Raphel stayed late as the plane was delayed. Enjoyed so much our breakfasts on the terrace served by Genarno, able to see the top of the Vatican Bascillica. Easy to walk to the Vatican City and further, we did a lot of walking. There are plenty of buses when you know what you are doing.Only two negatives; difficulty finding the place by public transport until we gave up and jumped into a taxi. Secondly, beds are pretty hard and uncomfortable if you like a softer bed. But the positives outweighed this small point. Would be happy to stay there again, and thank you. L & D Jones

I cannot say enough about the service we received even though the staff was short-handed. Rita, the temporary who came in on the week-end, went out of her way to help us with tour arrangements and made sure we had plenty of food in our room for our early morning start. Paola's welcome was like none I have experienced -- she was patient and very welcoming. This was a great place for our family to stay, very convenient location, and very comfortable and roomy at the end of the day. Thank you to all the Staff.

Reserved a 1-bedroom apartment but upgraded to a very spacious 2-bedroom apartment. Reception staff were outstanding especially Ferdinand who walked us through the property making sure everything was in working order, mapped and highlighted important sites and gave helpful tips during our stay. Breakfast at the rooftop was a treat. Genarro and Francesca made sure we had capucchino, espresso and hot choc for our boys. Genarro also made our day trip to Pompeii, Naples and Amalfi Coast fun and memorable. His Mercedes van was just right for a family of 5. The noisy train was our wake-up call in the morning but everything else was wonderful.

Se encuentra en una calle que no tiene veredas y es en una colina (pendiente). En la mañana uno se despierta con las campanas de la basilica San Pedro. Despues de las 19:00 no hay personal de recepción para el check-in.

My sister and I stayed four nights at the Aurelia Residence on our very first visit to Rome. We both agreed there aren't enough words to express our appreciation of the fine staff and the spaciousness of the apartment. A very good deal for that price! It is located in the Vatican area so getting to sites was no problem even for us newbies to Rome. The front desk does close at 7:30 as mentioned in another review, but hey, you are in an APARTMENT not a hotel. We were able to secure a ride to Termini and the Airport with one of the staff which was wonderful. Breakfasts were very good and gave us a chance to meet other travelers. I would give this residence my highest recommendation and would certainly book it again on a return trip to Rome (which I hope will be soon).

It was our first visit to Rome & we hope not the last. All the service of the hotel were very good & the quality of the breakfast-buffet excelent, including the location of the resturant. The hotel, being close to St. Peters, has good public services. The next bus stop is only 5mins. away from the hotel entrance. We highly & thoroughly recommend the Residence San Pietro. With no reservations, for a second visit to Rome, we would certianly stay at the Residence San Pietro. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the hotel staff for their frindliness & efficiency.

The unit is spacious - bedroom (and closet too), kitchen, living room, toilet, even hallway within the unit and balconies. Staff are plesant and helpful with directions and arranging airport transfer. The residence is close to St. Peter's Square and and major bus routes to key visit sites. The only drawback is the proximity to train tracks which bothered us on the first night but we didn't notice it on subsequent nights after walking so much during the day.

Very spacious rooms, staff very friendly and competent, nice breakfast on a lovely terrace. Rooms are a bit noisy because of the train tracks in the vicinity.

Rooms are very spacious and the staff very friendly. Breakfast each morning in the solarium was excellent. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance. The only drawback is that the office is open only from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm. Because we arrived late in the evening and had to leave early each morning to attend canonization events and were gone most of the day, I was not able to officially register until the day before we checked out. I would, however, definitely recommend Aurelia Residences to friends/relatives who have plans to visit Rome in the future.

We were deighted and amazed with our apartment. Lovely situation and grounds. Not the most central but very close to St. Peters Sq., 8 mins walk, access to the city from there or by bus even closer. Plentiful, nice, cold, buffet breakfast. Roof terrace with St. Peter's view, wasn't open when we were there. Only slight downsides were bed not the most comfy and a bit of noise from train lines. All in all though - fantastic and highly recommended.

The Residence is located directly on Aurelia street, 5-6 minutes by feet from S. Pietro Church. Aurelia street is crowded and therefore rooms are noisy, due to traffic. Several shops are very near, where to buy food, fruit and others. The personnel at reception was deliciously warm and kind and I wish to signal that a GOOD BUFFET BREAKFAST is included in price, a thing which is quite unusual for a residence. About the apartment, it was not recently restructured, but are spacious. Everything in the kitchen worked properly. I was a little annoyed because I had to pay a 30 euro supplement for late arrival ( I arrived at 21.30 in the evening) to have the keys. The experience anyway was positive, I will go there again.

Wow! Never met a nicer staff. Ferdinand, Anna Diane, Genarro could not have been nicer and more helpful. Would highly recommend. Especially to families. Aurelia Residence is situated w/in a short walk of St. Peters and is in the middle of a residential section of town. The rooms were adequate, clean and well equiped. And the daily breakfast on the roof-top garden was Excellent.

I was there with my two children (7 and 9) and my father. The apt was fantastic -- very spacious with comfortable furniture. The roof was gorgeous for bfast but was also drank wine and played family games up there in the afternoons and evenings. Balcony was great. Only warning is the shower door is narrow so might be tough for larger guests. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. Great value for the money and only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Vatican or across the Tiber into the center of Rome.

Great stay, however the pictures of the Toscanini apartment on the Net and what was offered to us on arrival were very different. Nowhere near the opulence that the Internet suggests from its photographs. Suggest you alter these as they are very misleading. However the staff were fantastic and very helpful in all ways. We'd come back again.
