Residenza Il Bollo - Rome

We were a family of six persons renting two room for four nights. The location of Il Bollo is perfect for attractions (walking distance to almost everything) and eating. Our host was very helpful in booking tour guides and taxi pick-up.

Fantastic location, very helpfull staff. We wanted to stay one more night but there were no rooms available, so receptionist found us another hotel nearby for same price. very nice and helpful.

I have been to Rome many times. This was the worst room and service that I have experienced. The room was very dark and dingy. There were two hot plates for all cooking etc. The room was not cleaned the whole 12 days that I was there. (I kept it clean!) I was attending a school and needed to study but the lighting was too poor to study properly. I left early. There was no internet access as advertised. It was suggested to me that I sit in the cold foyer to access the internet, which I did, but could not always get access anyway. There was no phone coverage - on an Italian phone. My room was opposite the front door on the ground floor. It was very noisy as the two security doors clanged whenever anyone came in or out. The man in charge was often not there when new guests arrived and I spent a lot of time telling people how to contact him to get in. Very unhappy with my experience.

The appartments were well located having easy access to all major attractions by foot or bus, basic appartment, however was sufficient for our needs as we were only staying 3 nights. Eduardo was very helpful, gave us all the information we required.

I had a nice stay at the Apartment Residenza il Bollo. My apartment was on the ground floor and had GREAT a/c! It was a bit dark and musty, but welcome after a day in the HOT July heat of Rome. The location is perfect, easy to get to everything and close to Campo di Fiori.

Perfect location!!! Nice maid and owner.Good security. Got a room on groundlevel that unfortunately had no real window-that was the only negative aspect.We are very pleased with our stay except for the dark room...Next time we will make sure we get another one.

Our apartment fits for 4 adults. It was hard to find a place to sleep in Rome for 4 people at this price. This Bollo Apartment provided us simple, safe accommodation and good location to many attractions in Rome. We'll rent it again next time, but if you have big bones and can't climb 1 flight of stairs to go to the bathroom then it's not for you, sorry! .

The apartments are in a fantastic central location (Campo Fiori area - just off Piazza Navona), the area is quiet at night and in the early morning. It is within walking distance of lots of tourist sites - The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps amongst others. There are lots of restaurants close by, a small supermarket less than 5 mins walk, vintage shops nearby and also a gelateria practically on the doorstep! The person who met us when we arrived spoke excellent English and was welcoming and helpful, suggesting places to visit and areas for good quality but inexpensive restaurants. We are a family of four and had two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a small kitchenette area for c.110 euros per night (we stayed 3 nights). The apartment was very clean and the air conditioning was much appreciated. It was basic accommodation but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We were 4 people staying in one of the upper appatments. Rooms were clean and spacious, only bathroom was rather tiny (typical for Italy). I would recommend "Il Bollo" to young people as Campo de Fiori (famous for its nightlife) is just around the corner.

Great location. Very quiet rooms despite the bustle of close by Campo dei Fiore. Room disappointing, kitchen right in front of bed and window with no view at all). Looked much nicer on photos (or perhaps we got the only room not shown on web!)Wi Fi access scant, porr signal which disappeared on the second day.

I think it is nessary to send housekeeper to clean the room at least every two days. We stayed there for four nights and we have to deal with the garbages by ourselves and there is no place to throw it around residence. This makes us inconvenient especially the residence provive kitchen to cook.

Our room was right on the street and very noisy. Our umbrella was stollen from right outside our door. We arranged to meet the concierge at an agreed time to check out, and we waited for well over an hour for him to arrive.

In the bathroom there is no an alone place where to leave your things, so you have to leave them in the flat. Although it is situated in a small street near the Place Fiori and there is so much noisy by night.
