We've stayed in Residence Europa for three days. Accommodation can be best described as an aparthotel as there is a reception and several apartments. It looks like apartments were constructed by splitting one or several big flats in an old building into smaller 1-2 room accommodations. This means that you get a really modern looking room but it looks like a hotel suite rather than an apartment. We have booked a studio, but our room surprisingly comprised of a living-room with a small kitchen, dining table and a sofa-bed, and a bedroom with spacious wardrobe and a full-size bed. Apartment is clean, equipped with modern furniture. At the same time in living room you have no place to put your clothes. I.e. the wardrobe in the bedroom is the only place to hang your jacket or coat. Less sufficient in summer but in colder time would be really inconvenient. Secondly - there is all necessary kitchenware, but no sugar/oil/tea/coffee. Not good for guests who plan to do cooking. Bathroom was also a bit under-equipped as there is only one rail to hang two towels. There are no shelves so you have to put all you stuff around sink tub. During our stay the elevator did not work from the ground floor. So you had to climb up to the first floor. Bad surprise. Another problem with an elevator is that sometimes it did not work at all. Perhaps because somebody did not shut the elevator doors properly. Location is in buzzling business and shopping area. Repubblica station is in 5 minutes walk. Bus stop is around the corner on via Nazionale. But overall this apartment is a good option to a hotel especially if you stay in a group of 3-4 adults or come with children.

Noisy heating system (airport level): so carry ear plugs, even if they won't be enough, they will help. Lift works 50% of times, due to not resolvable problems (doors too large for frame, cattish neighbours). Consider you are at 4th or 5th floor. On the other side location is good and rooms are big and clean, although not well furnished. Better to keep on searching.

To be honest, it exceeded our expectations, the perfect location, we could walk anywhere in Rome. We stayed for two unforgettable weeks. Some friends are really interested about going there. Special thanks to Joseph who gave us a warm welcome.

Fine place to stay in the heart of Rome!Very clean and cosy apartment with private entrance and kithen. Only be prepared that most of tableware meant for italian cuisine - no kettle and very small koffe cups. We had to boil the water for the tea in the pot and used 3 cups at once or the cream jug. But these were all our troubles during our exellent vocations in Rome. The stuff was very helpful and we are very thankful for them all.

It is very simple rooms, with minimum things in it. Like a minimalists style. But the place is very comfortable for walking around. For My liking, it is overpriced a bit.

Fantastic place to stay, especially if you have children as you have more space and freedom than a hotel. It is an apartment hotel. It is situated in an old building and occupies the top two floors (4 and 5), there is another hotel on the 3rd floor and it appeared to be local residents in the rest of the building. It was very quiet despite being just off the main road Via Nazionale. There is a lift to the top floors. There is a mini supermarket across the road and a spar shop round the corner where you can get items for breakfast and there is a little snack bar which is open at lunchtimes. The staff were very friendly even though not all of them spoke English. The room was only cleaned once whilst we were there but I think it should have been twice but we were in the room at the time and so were not disturbed. It is in a perfect location for exploring the centre of Rome by foot, only 15 mins to the Colosseum and 10 to the Trevi fountain etc. It was also only a short walk to the underground and main railway station and easy to catch the open top buses. There are plenty of restaurants around the area and two right by the hotel. We ate in one of them and it was fine but you could find cheaper elsewhere.

Staff qualifications need to be improved. Without properly checking the confirmed reservation the staff actually removed our belongings from the room one day before check-out telling our son we had to leave the rooms immediately! They later apologized for their misunderstanding but this had allready caused us serious distractions hurrying back to the hotel from the places we were. The hotel manager provided a amicable compensation and apologized for this unfortunate event. Our rating would have been much higher if this had not happened due to incompetent staff.

The appartments are on the 4th floor, hidden in the backyard of a typical Roman House, very central but realy quite and only a stone's throw away from the main street where are plenty shops, supermarkets and mini markets located. Most POI are reachable by wolk within 10 to 15 minutes (Colloseum, Forum Romanum, Piazza Venezia etc.) Resaurant beside the entree was tested personally and provides good food for fair prices(Pizza, Pasta, Beef ...). The appartments are suited with 2 Bedroom, where one of it can be used as commonroom with TV, smale kitchen with table & 4 seats, fritch, AC in all rooms. We stayed there 4 night and had a very good time, silent nights and pretty good experience at all. Hope to come back to Rome and will stay here again for sure. Greetings from Germany!

I strongly recommend Soggiorno Europa. The appartments are cleans, spacious and have goods amenities (refrigerator, kitchen, Tv, wi-fi, plates). It has two rooms (one for the bed and TV, and the other with a kitchen, table, sofa, TV, refrigerator) The neighbours were very sure. We are afraid about it because we read about some insecurity in Termini, but it is far of Termini and you can find a pair of restaurant in this street closing not early (23:30). One of these restaurant is recommended by Lonely Planet. It isn´t far of the principal points of interest; only of Vaticano, but you can get the subway in Republica Square and you arrive Vaticano in few minutes. The appartments are very comfortables to stay (specially if you arrive very tired you can buy meal in a supermarket very near and you can eat in the apapartment in a comfortabel environment). Do not afraid when you enter to the building and see the old entrance , the appartments are completely news. You can close the appartment door by electronic card or by key. Pino who is in charge of the Soggiorno was very easy-going and told us some important clues to enjoy Rome. One recomendation: be sure the time of your check-in and inform the hotel because I do not know if there would be somebody if you arrive in the late nigth. Again, I strongly recommend this place by quality, price and the staff-.
