Hotel Residence La Reunion - Ravenna

The Residence Reunion was in the Centro Storico of Ravenna so perfect location to visit churches with famous mosaics and experience the historical Ravenna. The seaside Ravenna is 30 minutes away by train from old Ravenna. The hotel is close to the train station. We had to ask locals for help but it is doable with luggage, minimal, but not in a straight direction. The suite we had was one bedroom and excellent. Kitchen, dining, lounge, separate bedroom and entry hallway and large bathroom and washing machine in bathroom. An ironing board, iron and folding clothes airer and hairdryer supplied as well a complete set of crockery, cutlery, linen, microwave, stove and oven, gas and kettle. Wonderful. Fit out of this Appartments exceeded one we go to yearly in Australia. There were TVs in bedroom and lounge room. The building is huge, a conversion of an old apartment building so it has 2 wings with a central entry hall and reception and breakfast room in wing A on the first floor. The elevator is up stairs on first level but there was a stair lift machine at entry. Anyway the Residence Reunion was very luxurious and well equipped and the staff were all helpful, friendly people. We had a perfect short stay. This hotel would be perfect for people staying longer as it is fitted out so well and is so roomy and buying groceries from 2 nearby locations was easy and they stocked excellent products also. We had a very different and enjoyable stay at The residence Reunion and recommend it highly.

Parking is difficult. Baggage handling is not convenient. Many dust on the sheets. Very noisy around the room.

Excellent facilities, location and very professional staff. Highly recommendable.
