PurPur Hotel - Aparthotel - Prague

the hotel is in a good position: 10 minutes from the city center. the staff is kind and the price ok. The problem was that the room wasn't clean and the brakfast poor in quantity and quality

Nice hotel, centrally located, easy to walk to the central square. I traveled with my family and yound children, very nice to have a kitchen. Helped out a lot. Breakfest was good to.

The only negative was that the rooms were a bit cold and the room was small(if we had 2 big laguages in order to stay for long a period of time we would have serious problem with the space).Everything else was perfect.It is in a very convinient place(near old town,near the new center, near the train station).The breakfast was amazing and the hotel's staff very polite and helpfull!Great experience!

the breakfest is not good

I stayed at Purpur during Christmas 2011. The rooms were very spacious, clean and looked newly renovated. Staff service was excellent, everyone was friendly and spoke good english. The continental breakfast was decent. The hotel is right in the city center, so you are never far away from action. Its an awesome hotel for very low prices!

Excellent breakfast and good rooms, the only thing is that the shower needs walls, not glass!

The hotel was very nice, and had a cute charactor to it. The staff was also very friendly and accomodating. The location is great, as it is not too loud on the streets, but is still close the city-center. You may or may not still hear the average drunkard singing 'My Heart Will Go On' at 5 AM, but nothing too drastic. Still, overall sleeping was no problem. The only negative sides to the hotel were the coffee, (seriously, spare your taste buds. I think it was made with one single bean, and dish soap) and the hot water seemed to be sparse around 8-9 AM. Could have been a fluke, but am not sure. Overall, a good hotel for a good price, which I would visit again - Praha is after all, an absolutely fantastic travel destination:)

The location is easily accessable by car. Only 5-8 minutes on foot from the historic center. The price is absolutely good especially with breakfast included. The room was surprisingly modern. Strongly recommended. We loved it. Next time i'm in Prague i go for this hotel again for sure!!!!

SUPERB HOTEL FOR THE MONEY BEDS SLIGHTLY HARD BUT NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT .HOTEL IS SET IN A SUPERB LOCATION FOR ALL LOCATIONS IE WENCESLAS SQUARE 5 MINS WALK OLD TOWN 15-20 MINS WALK AND CHARLES BRIDGE 25 MINS. WOULD CERTAINLY RECCOMEND A STAY IN THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. I WILL CERTAINLY BE BACK

DO NOT stay here if you require a good nights sleep! The hotel room size, decor and comfort was good for the price paid - we paid approx £40 per night per room. However, lack of sleep ruined our break. We were lucky to get 3 or 4 hours sleep per night. The warm temperatures meant we had to leave the windows open during the night and the narrow street and high buildings created a sound tunnel which was highly amplified. Traffic, refuse collector lorries, people walking by, shouting, doors slamming to name but a few sounds, were all at maximum volume. Upon checking in, we had to sign to declare that we would honor the quiet period between 11pm and 6pm, however this was definately not enforced. Guests from the hostel rooms below were heard crystal clear as late as 3am. Also breakfast was absolutely horrific - the food looked inedible as though it had been left out of a fridge for days prior to serving. I can not stress enough, that this accomodation is ONLY suitable for young travellers/backpackers as it is good value for money and clean - however ONLY stay here if you can sleep through and/or tolerate ridiculous noise levels.
