The place is shabby, my room was filthy, the kitchen and wardrobe storage space are inadequate and poorly designed, there were no cups for tea or coffee and no glasses to drink from, the air conditioning doesn't work properly, the kitchen is so dark that you can't read the instructions in the recycling cupboard. On the plus side, there are some nice areas close by (Rue du Commerce, the Eiffel Tower) but why not stay somewhere more French. Way overpriced for the current state of the rooms.

I have got a studio flat for 5 days then I have extended my stay for another 3 more days. The extension of those 3 days was like a nightmare because at my last night when I requested to extend my stay I was informed that there not a single chance to stay as the hotel was fully booked so I couldnt sleep all the night searching for another hotel which was extremely difficult, I have called the reception in the next morning and requested to extend my stay and they accepted as easy as that and I didnt even have to change my room which was very astonishing to me. Anyway, the room was very quite, clean and fully equiped. The room was just a little small and the AC wasnt cooling very well. Although I have requested a big bed instead of two small beds, the bed was actually 2 beds wall foldable type which wasnt very commfortable for me and my wife. Finally, it was a value for money hotel and I would still recommend it to everyone.

The apartments look modern, spacious and clean. Is you have a high room the views are incredible. The swiming pool is relaxing (but there are not changing rooms and you have to have a shower with the swiming costume and get dressed as you can). You have 5-7 minutes to subway or Eiffel tower. It's a pity if you can't see the Eiffel tower from your room. If you take your PC, remember the cable (we used the telephone's one). A great place, but a bit expensive.

This building is very modern and clean. The staff was helpful. We stayed in a 2pc ( 1 bedroom)apt and had a seperate livingroom. Although we faced the Effiel tower, there are many highrise buildings between Adagio and the Effiel, so all you see is the top of the tower. I wouldn,t pay extra for that view. The building is just 4 blocks from Javel TER stn and very convenient to all of Paris. You can take the Blue TER train from Charles De Gaulle airport to get into Paris, then transfer to the Versaille line which passes the Javel Stn. The apt is about 4 blocks from the E Tower. Apt was very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen had all utensiles, dishwasher, micro, stove and fridge. There is a pool and breakfast restaurant on the ground floor. We felt very safe in all of Paris including the apt neighbourhood. Groceries and market are within 2 blocks of the building. We would definitly use this building again if we return to Paris. Another tip - we bought all our train, museum, and Paris transit passes from Rail Europe before we left Canada. This saved us a lot of time by avoiding lineups at museums and trying to figure out train tickets when we got there.

On the day of check in, I had to pay for the entire week, which I thought was strange, what happen if I wanted to check out a day earlier?? I requested an Eiffel Tower view which I didn't get. The space in the apart-hotel is great!

We had the studio apartment, which was compact but had everything we needed. After an initial glitch with our booking when we arrived, things went smoothly. The staff are helpful with concert/tour bookings and information, if a little brusque. The location is mostly good; close to the metro, shops, restaurants and cafes and you can walk to the Eiffel Tower. Less positive are the immediate surrounds of the building; a bit dodgy and like entering a run-down bus terminal before you enter the bright and modern reception of the Adagio complex itself. The area seems to be in transition and so it’s a bit depressing. In terms of cost, you can do better. We had just come from a nice three-star hotel that cost less (and included a courtesy tea and coffee tray), was much closer to the centre in a nice area and with a bigger room. The photos are a little misleading, giving the impression that all rooms have excellent views. Not so. Perhaps Adagio could be a bit clearer about the rooms, distinguishing between nice-view rooms (Eiffel tower side) and not-so-nice-view rooms and reflect this in the pricing. Overall, handy if you want to self-cater. As a further note, we found the Parisians to be very kind and helpful. The only thing is, watch out for the crottes (doggie business) on the streets! The guide books aren’t exaggerating.

One of the problems we encountered when we arrived at the hotel is the fact that they didn't find our reservation on their network and had to call the central. I would understand if we had reserved earlier in the day or a day before, but not a week before! Otherwise, the place was clean and comfortable, we stayed at the 28th floor with view on the Seine. I suppose it was the best floor, because we had a view on absolutely everything: the Eiffel Tower, the Seine, Sacré-Coeur, les Invalides. That part was amazing. During our stay, we thought of something for the hotel: instead of having a dishwasher, they could change it with a washing machine as it is more useful in hotels -even though there's a floor made for washing and drying clothes-.
