BQ Augusta Aparthotel - Palma de Mallorca

you need to take a bus if you want to go downtown, not much to do in the surrounding. however hotel and staff are nice and helpful, i was satisfied wity my choice

Near Harbour and City Limit. Too far away for a Walk in the City. Need app. 10 minutes by Car to Palma historic town. Good breakfast!!!

The decor of the rooms needed updating and some of the rather old furniture needed to be renewed. The facilities at the hotel were good; a nice pool/sunbathing area and location was convenient for the town. Very helpful staff; the quality of room for the price paid was the real disappointment.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and kitchen area is useful for snacks. Breakfast was excellent. Our balcony faced East - so only had a bit of sun in the mornings - but large pool area was ok for sunbathing. Hotel is close to Porto Pi shopping complex but about 30 min walk from Palma centre (although the No 3 bus service is handy). Lots of steps and hills in this area - but taxis were also friendly and convenient. Palma is a lovely city.

Very well run, friendly, clean and comfortable. Good bathroom and kitchenette, nice views from balcony. Good breakfast. Lovely pool, lounge ok. Free PC but small charge for WiFi. Frequent bus to town 1 euro (no. 3), to airport 2 euro (no. 1), bus stops and mall nearby. On hill so not so good for the infirm if walking. Strongly recommended.

We stayed at Augusta for a week and had a wonderful time in the hotel. Our room was well-planned with a small kitchenette, dinnertable and a double-bed (two single beds pushed together actually). The only, very minor, complaint we had was regarding the air-conditioning because on two occasions it didn't work properly. All rooms has a balcony or a terrace facing the skyline of Palma and from the topfloor were we stayed you could see all the way to the cathedral. The hotel is clean, has a very nice staff (the girl with the braid in the bar deserves a special mentioning) and can cater for your every whim. The poolarea is nice, clean and quiet and you can sit there by one of the tables and enjoy a bit of food from the barmenu or some drinks. The food they served in the bar isn't anything special, but it will suffice when your only after a light meal in the afternoon. Our advice is to order the pasta, the hamburger wasn't that good. We didn't use the sunbeds, but others did and seemed happy with them. There is also a masseur at hand for those who need something like that (for a small fee). If you stay at the Augusta you won't break the bank. Instead get a very nice, first-class, service that many other 3-star hotels cannot supply. We would book this hotel again without doubt.

good hotel, not too crowded for the summer season, big swimming pools, excellent breakfast buffet, service very smiling. -: 30 min bus trip for getrting to the center of Palma, dangerous route to get t the hotel, no place for pedestrians and dangerous, speedy cars; only one pc with internet for the whole hotrel

The hotel is not so close to the center, but it was cheap. Public transportations are very good and 2 mins away. Just don't try to reach the hotel at night by bus when you don't know the place. You may get lost. I had to stay in the hotel in my birthday and I had a bottle of champaign waiting for me at night. I found this a very nice gesture.

Augusta Apartments was beyond expectations. We had a spacious apartment with kitchen and 4 sleeping places although we were just 2 (we were quoted a double room price). We could exit straight to the pool from the room via a small balcony. Beautiful surroundings on a hill. Rich and varied buffet breakfast. The staff was very nice and friendly, helped me arrange a car rental. Car was delivefred at the hotel, very convenient.

The staff were really excellent: helpful, friendly and informative. The hotel was clean and well decorated. The pool area was excellent with comfortable loungers and plenty of towels. We had a meal in the nearby Mallorca Hotel on a Sunday when it was difficult to get a restaurant booking and this was good value for money. We could see the cathedral and castle from our balcony. It was easy to get down to the marina by using steps but we took a taxi back!

Very good hotel, near to the town, it was a nice holiday.

The best hotel to stay in Palma in good conditions at a very good price.

Poor has been: if breakfast time runs up to 10.30 there should be eggs available at 10.20. But the waitress said: I cannot boil now any more. Why - she did not tell. I think she was lazy !

Camera spaziosa,pulita,con angolo cottura, perfettamente corrispondente a quanto descritto sul sito. Colazione a buffet,ottima e abbondante.Parcheggio privato non disponibile,ma possibilità di parcheggiare lungo le vie circostanti. Zona tranquilla e comoda ai servizi (centro commerciale,autobus,bar e locali) ma scomoda al centro di Palma,raggiungibile solo con la macchina o i mezzi pubblici.Nota positiva: la maggior parte dei parcheggi in centro a Palma non sono a pagamento e si trova facilmente posto anche ad Agosto. Ci sentiamo di consigliare questa sistemazione.

We found this hotel much better than expected, staff extremely helpful, food very good value. For first time visitors the location is a little out of the city centre and would advise transfer from airport by taxi. Excellent bus service into city centre - reasonably priced too.

Very nice hotel just what I expected for the price.
