La Piazzetta Brunaccini is potentially a happy island.
In fact, all around other historical buildings such as the Municipal Library and the Church of Professed House underwent major restoration work.
La Piazzetta Brunaccini is thus a true example for the rest of the area.
Entering face an ancient marble staircase Billiemi and nine apartments on the first floor there are three studios and six two premises. All furnished and equipped apartments offer guests every comfort comparable to a hotel of great prestige, also fully equipped, all apartments are equipped with kitchens and appliances. Of note some items of furniture found in certain units, particularly mobile in times of great prestige achieved by superfine cabinet makers, led by famous architects such as Basile. Moreover, the services available to guests complete the structure and make the stay pleasant to deal with both a holiday or work without problems.

It is a very new hotel and very well decorated. The staff was extremely warm, still very professional. We would definetely go back if we visit Palermo again.

Very high level of fit out in this recently restored palazzo. Beautiful clean lines, neutral palate of creams and ecru linen, wood, tiles. The lack of breakfast is not a problem - if you order the afternoon before they will bring it from a nearby cafe. I did not realise just how near until my last evening when I found out about the little ally that brings you to the market where the cafe is - I wish I had realised because I got completely lost in that Market. The area surrounding the palazzo is somewhat intimidating - poor area, lots of dereliction and reconstruction. But, in the end it was OK. BTW - there was no bottle opener in my room / kitchen area. It seems they are all gone! Reception were happy to open a bottle for me when I had supper in my room the last evening.

Guys at the desk are nice and competent. The apartment is nice (newly renovated with EEC funds). The kitchen is rudimentary. There is a very nice market - food shopping area , just behind the hotel. The palace is just next to main sites.

My wife and I loved Palazzo Brunaccini. The palazzo was totally refurbished to a high quality with up-to-the-minute bathrooms, and very stylish attractive rooms. The property had only been open for 2 weeks with public areas still in progress, but the staff was very accomodating and helpful. The location in the old historic city near the market is not the most attractive, but it is very safe and colorful and located within a short walk of the important historic sites. Local residents were pleasant and welcoming. The new city is very accessible and deserves exploring as well. Palermo is an intriquing city.

5 nights for 2 adults and 2 children (11, 13)easter 2011. Very nice hotel, all brand new. Huge bedrooms, kitchenette. Worth at least 3 times the price paid ! Surrounding is a bit old, but Ballaro market is only 30 meters far. Close to Palermo old town, very nice. Staff very kind, awaiting to help you when needed. I stongly recommend this hotel for a succesful stay in Palermo.
