Grebnos Stonehouse Apartments - Ohrid

Really quaint rooms with traditional stone walls and a lovely balcony with a great view. The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent. The room had a fridge inside and there's a shared kitchen in the property which was great and well stocked with all the basics. Pavel was really helpful, gave us a lot of advice and a lot of rakija. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Grebnos Stonehouse Apartments was amazing! Pavel was extremely welcoming and really made us feel at home. He also spoke good English and gave us a free pick up from the bus station. The views from the balcony are incredible looking over the rooftops of the old town and the beautiful lake. The interior is also lovely, and with the stone felt fresh and cool compared to the heat outside; the heater kept us warm at night. There is a fully equipped kitchen, and a barbecue, tables and chairs on the balcony so you can really make the most of this beautiful and peaceful space. Grebnos is also really well located for seeing Ohrid's sights. It was really hard to leave this place, I felt I could have stayed here for ever!

This was my first stay in Ohrid and I will definitly return. Not only is the city breathtaking, the accommodation was wonderful. Several nights I sat out on the balcony and grill dinner over an open fire while enjoying Macedonian wine and taking in the sites and sounds of Ochrid by night. Definitly worth the time and money.

My wife, my daughter and I had a magical three-night stay at Grebnos Stonehouse Apartments. Pavel is a gracious host who could not have been more helpful in getting us settled and acclimated. The rooms are comfortable, just as shown in the photos, but no photo can do justice to the amazing balcony and its panoramic view of the town and lake. We felt very much at home - we had easy access to the kitchen facilities, Pavel's knowledge of Ohrid is extensive, and we felt like locals being right in the heart of Old Town. Our only regret was having to head home so soon.
