The Hotel Le Cheval Blanc’s building has a history all of its own. Originally built in the 18th century as a factory that produced the city’s typical textile export – denim fabric – it was subsequently converted into a hostel and then upgraded to a classy boutique hotel. This historic building dates back to almost 2,000 years ago and has been remodeled and renovated a number of times during its long history. Most famously, it was converted to serve as a bullring back in 1863 and has been hosting two yearly bullfights since then.

We were really delighted with this hotel. the location, the rooms, the kitchenette, the staff. all fantastic. if anything the website and the photos do not do it jus...
