Residence Rododendro - Passo di San Pellegrino, Moena

We were 3, the room was not ready, eventhough it was already after 17:00... We had to arrange by ourself the beds (put sheets, cover of the pillows, and so on...). The towels were thin, like sheets, and looks like kitchen's towel... There was a note that we have to wash the dishes we use, but there were no soap and sponge or other "item" for that purpose. They suggest to eat at their place using a discount of the club card(which you have to pay anyway) for only 20 EU per person... We ate at the nearest hotel-restaurant 2 Km in the direction to Mowena for only 13 Eu (very tasty and generous ).

The first apartment that we got had a problem of electricity. After 45 minutes of unpacking-there was an electricity shut down. We had to move to another apartment that luckily didn't have the same problem. The maintainance of the hotel is very very poor. We saw traces of damp in the very small bathroom.The old wooden windows- we could hardly close themat night. The bathroom was very slippery- we had to be very careful when we used it. The staff didn't make the bed- we had to do it by ourselves! Remember ,we arrived after a long travel,we were tired and expected a cpmfortable and a welcoming place to stay.We certainly didn't expct to make the bed !!!It is the first time that we had such a thing to do in Italy or elsewhere in Europe. The hotel didn't give any washing liquid for the dishes' as we got in other places in Italy. There wasn't hot water before 6 o'clock in the morning.

Staff was friendly, but too friendly. Very loud music in the dinning/leisure room, and staff was doing karaoke and making fun during dinner (while we were the only guests). Rooms were tidy except bathroom. Walls were not clean and toilet-brush contained traces of earlier tenants. San Pellegrino pass has a nice environment to spend some quite days, but bring groceries as nearest supermarkets are in the valleys.
