Atahotel The Big - Milan

Hotel in the middle of one gigantic building site. Miraculously, however, no noise in the room. Room basically ok. Spacious, bed with good mattress, although the furniture was not the latest. Wallpaper peeling off where the shower was on the other side of the wall. Obviously problem with moisture from the shower in the wall (no problem at 35 degrees, though. Bathroom not entirely clean (shower not entirely cleaned on the outside, but the rest was fine). On the whole, however, at 65,-- for two (without breakfast) well worth the price. About 20 min. by underground from the centre.

The hotel rooms are really spacious. But the noise from other rooms was unbearable! We've never stayed in a hotel with such noise from other rooms (bathtube, people talking, etc. - you hear just everything - incredible). Besides this real problem, everything was fine, very clean, good service, good breakfast buffet (for Italy).

The room was unexpectedly spacious. Actually it was a two room+kitchen flat.The location is perfect for visiting the center of Milano by public transportation or even walking. The surroundings are pleasant although large construction works are in process in this part of the city.The Corso di Como next to the hotel offers opportunities for shopping,restaurants and bars.

Large residence-style suites with large kitchen and lots of space. No PayTV in room this time. Refinements and appointments aren't exactly top notch.

We used to live in Milan and chose this hotel in part because we enjoy walking in the nearby neighborhoods. the value is excellent, the service was extraordinarily friendly, and the cost of parking was not extravagant.

They gave me a suit room with living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. For the price was fantastic. Far from the city center, but the area in nice and trendy.

I stayed some days in Milan for the Bit fair exhibition and I was really pleased with the comfort of Hotel The Big. I was surprised by the wideness of the rooms, especially of the bathroom with 2 separate areas. Clean rooms and an easy parking in the same biulding of the hotel. It is very close to the metro stop Garibaldi and in the Corso Como area, which is very nice and alive and just a few metres from teatro Smeraldo. In my next business travel I will surely get back to it.

THis hotel is well located, close to Garibaldi metro and train station, just 2 stops away from Milano Centrale. Clean. Spacious. All employees were very nice and accomodating. About 20-30 minutes walk to Il Duomo. I was in Milano at the beginning and the end of my trip. I came back to this hotel instead of the other one I had reserved at the end.

The hotel was exellent, good service, good breakfast, good bed. However.... The directions to the hotel were a disaster. It is located in a small, one way, side street, that no one knows. Moreover there is a lot of construction in that area that adds to the confusion. We have never been to Milan, and finding the place took us hours.

It was right around the corner from a little strip of clubs and restaurants, so that was a pleasant surprise. It was further from the city center (i.e. the duomo) than i thought it would be, about a 20 min walk. but the walk wasn't unpleasant. rooms were clean, although our beds weren't turned down the entire weekend we were there, apparently they don't clean rooms on sunday. and the two twin beds were pushed together and might as well have been a double. Slightly weird that the floors throughout the room were large tile, and there was no carpeting literally anywhere in the hotel, but overall a nice place. came with a mini kitchen, fridge and sink. be aware though, the workout room...is a sparse one. a rack of weights, one treadmill, a bike and a stairmaster...and again...the floor is hard tile.

If it is 3 star hotel, the hotel is very excellent. but it is four star hotel and its facilities/etc are not so excellent as other 4 star hotel. the location is great, in front of tram station and just a block from 10 corso como.

Rooms more spacious than expected

Good location close to the center. People there it's nice and professional. Rooms are good and cleaned, I think I'll stay there again. Breakfast is a little bit poor.

Siamo rimasti solo una notte, le mie bambine sono andate via a malincuore. In occasione di alta visita a Milano ritornerò in questa struttura.

Overall we were very happy - the big negative is that we chose this hotel specifically for the pool only to find that it is under construction and has obviously been out of use for some time.Fitness room is good and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the metro.

We were very pleased with the Big Residence who had placd us in a one bedroon rather than studio apartment. Business district with few local shops but within 15-20 minute walk of cathedral/centre. Disappointingly swimming pool and roof terrace closed with building work taking place.

A perfect place to work and live! We recomend this residence to all.

No iron available at reception and no kettle in room. Reception not very welcoming but polite otherwise. Rooms spotless and comfortable. Overall enjoyed our stay.
