I have been told that rooms with a sea view were not available "that wasn't correct" but they keep these rooms for better payers as I k new from an other guest. The breakfast was too expensiv. I would recommend the Blue Palm 10 minutes away. You can get a good breakfast for much less than €12.50

Good location for walking to the old town and orange square. At quiet end of the promenade but within easy reach of bars and restaurants. Parking on the streets can be very difficult and car parks are expensive Would recommend for a studio apartment

Very good location. Right on beachfront and easy walk to the old town. We stayed in a one bedroom unit as opposed to a studio as I thought it would have a front seaview. This was not the case. We had a side view, so I think one would need to book early to get a room with the front seaview. The unit was comfortable and clean. There is a supermarket around the corner from the hotel so self catering is easy. We had a car and were given access by the hotel to a nearby carpark . This worked well as parking is limited in Marbella. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The hotel is excellently located right by the beach, close to buses, the old town and shops as well as being a minute's walk from lots of beach front restaurants and bars. A very clean, neat place with helpful staff. If we return to Marbella we will stay here again.

The location is great: on the beach, in the heart of Marbella. All around restaurants, bar and everything you might need. Very usefull the free wi-fi service on the ground floor as well as the internet service provided at a reasonable price. The rooms are simple and not big, but there's everything. The relationship price/quality is very good. I would back in this hotel.

Great location just off the main drag in Marbella, short walk to old town. Lovely front desk staff. Room was nice, lots of space which is perfect for several nights stay. Pool was clean, lots of sun loungers. Restaurant was pricey.

Ottima struttura, molto confortevole.

We didn't eat at the hotel, but they have some lovely small restaurants along the beach which is only a short walk away. Most of them have some great fresh seafood and paella. This was our first time in Marbella and I would definitely come back. The location is great as you are close to lovely and charming Old Town, directly on the beach which has a lovely promenade, and not too far from Puerto Banus (there is a bus stop very close and lots of buses that go to Puerto Banus).

Excellent choice and definately recommended. The hotel is right on the beach, very close to Marbella town which has some great shops, bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Taxi to Purto Banus is about 10 Euros, great for night out. We will certainly stay here again and would recommend to anyone

The Princesa Playa offerred really good facilities at a very competitive price. However there were two aspects of their quotation and website that were wrong. We stayed in one of the studios, and on our confirmation it stated that we had a sofa bed. This caused some concern, but was completely innaccurate as the room had a large double bed and a sofa, plus table and chairs, small kitchen and a balcony with a table and chairs -we were pleasantly surprised! The other item that really did annoy us was that we booked it as a transit hotel as the website stated it was a few steps from the bus station. This is a complete lie and I would ask that Venere request the website be changed. The bus station is miles away on the other side of Marbella on a motorway junction and is a 6 euro taxi ride away. For all that it was a wonderful room with very good facilities and situated right by the beach. Why can't the website just say that?

Great hotel just a few yards from the beach and directly on the main promenade/strip. The walk along the promenade in the evenings is really buzzing and the restaurants are great in particular Moma Rosa. The hotel offers very clean, reasonable sized rooms with Balcony. Our room didn't have a bath, but the shower was excellent. The room view is good out to sea and the other side looks to the hills. The roof top restaurant offers great panaramic views. The pool is one floor up and is ok for a quick dip to refresh yourself whilst sunbathing. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. For anyone going to Puerto Banus in the evenings, it's about 14€ in a taxi, but the bus gets you there for a couple of Euro's.

Good hotel, nice clean rooms. Hotel pool on roof was a great added bonus. I had a sea view which was brilliant. Right next to the beach. One member of staff was quite rude to me as i walked out of the hotel with no shirt on but a towel over me going to the beach. He told me not to do it again which was fine, but then gave me a right earful when i came back into the hotel from the beach for having no shirt on. He couldnt figure it out that as i had no shirt going out of the hotel, i would have no shirt coming back in!!!! power trip i think. Apart from that minor incident all was great. Just remember to wear a shirt at all times!!! Not that much nightlife in Marbella, puerto is where it all happens which is just 10 euro taxi into the heart of it all.

Myself, husband and two teenage daughters aged 16 and 14 stayed in the Princesa Playa for 2 weeks in June. The location is terrific across the road from the beach, restaurants and bars within minutes walk and the beautiful old town of Marbella 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were clean, spacious, well maintained and cleaned daily. Rooms were exactly as shown on the hotel's web page. Lovely pool area with great views but as it is small could get crowded. Nice terrace area with snacks and drinks available - just a pity it closes at 16.00hrs. Reception staff were not friendly with the odd exception and there was certainly no warm welcome on arrival! Bus stops around the corner if you want to venture out and explore the surrounding areas. We had a very enjoyable holiday and loved Marbella. The hotel has a great location and is good value for money - we will definitely go back.

Well located close to beach, shops and restaurants both on the seafront and Old Marbella. The two criticisms, neither of which would spoil a holiday, were that the suite was clean ed in the mid-afternoon rather than earlier, and that the roof-top bar/restaurant closed at 4.00 p.m.

I was very pleased with this hotel, the room was fantastic - very large, clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the room smelled like someone had cooked something in it (very strong food smell). We were able to air it out by leaving all the windows and doors open but it was still noticeable. The location is ideal, literally right across the street from the beach in a quiet area. It's also very close to many restaurants and a shopping area. The price is great! We payed 130 euro a night which is really cheap compared to other hotels we have paid for in similar destinations. If you want to go to Puerto Banus (main shopping, restaurants, clubs) it's about a cheap 10 minute cab ride from the hotel. The staff was very courteous and helpful, called cabs for us any time we needed one. My only words of advice for people traveling to Marbella/Puerto Banus - avoid the Red Pepper Greek Restaurant in Puerto Banus, it's ridiculously overpriced for the terrible food you get. We had a much better meal for around the same price at Santiago's near the hotel (the staff was a bit snobby but the food was at least good), and at Da Fabio. Overall I was very please with our experience in Marbella and would recommend this destination, and the hotel we stayed in to other travelers.

Clean and comfortable hotel located just in front of the beach + promenade street and short walking distance to old town. However, the beach of Marbella is totally deceiving compared to city beaches all nice in Spain. Moreover, there is not any seat & umbrella on the beach offered by the Hotel to its customers. Rather than day times, this beach is much more attractive by night especially for the fish restaurants directy situated on it with their reasonably priced delicious grilled fishes + giant prawns + "moriscos" apart from a very nice promenade alley.

The hotel is well located however it was having some building work carried out which we were not made aware of when we booked. The noise woke us every morning except Sunday. Our room was very small and the bed was also extremely uncomfortable. The airconditioning unit was very noisy and located directly above the bed. We asked to be moved to another room and the hotel obliged after some discussion. This room was more comfortable and less noisy however, the airconditioning unit, while better located, was still noisy. The pool on the roof is small but clean and in a great location, however, it would benefit hugely from a revamp. Overall, although the location of the hotel right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of the old town is fantastic, I find it hard to believe that it is a four star hotel. I would not return to the Princesa Playa.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and room...the only problem was with parking...we were not told it would be a problem and then were told that we had to keep asking to find out if a spot opened up in a garage with limited spaces...it was really inconvenient and the hotel had not been upfront with the fact that there would be such limited availability.
