Certainly the worst hotel of our entire Italian trip. First, the hotel is a very long walk from the train station, partly over gravel that hinders suitcases. When we got the place, at 3 pm, there was no one there. After some struggle, the owner's father, a pleasant guy showed up. Our room was in a different building, in a very noisy location near a busy railroad track and a restaurant. When we tried to pay, in the morning, there was again no one there. And there was no breakfast, at any price.

Good location close to the old city with car parking out the back. A very compact but well equiped kitchen. The constant flow of late night visitors upstairs quite noisy.

We recommend this B&B for travelers who are looking for a low budget room, near the center of the city, with a free parking. Some details: - The B&B employee who met us did not speak English at all, but was very welcoming and nice. - There is a free parking, but the entry is very narrow, it was ok for us because we had a small car. - About the room: the bathroom was on the terrace near the room, so to access it, we had to pass through the terrace which was half open air. The room is quite big and has air conditioning. The room was not perfectly tidy, and not modern at all, which we expected since the price is quite low. - It is a B&B which offers no breakfast All in all, we were quite satisfied since the location is great: 400 meters from the Lucca wall, so 5 minutes walk to the center of the city.

Very helpful staff. The place is a little down at heel, but clean. Noise from adjoining rooms was very disturbing (could even hear people in adjoining room brushing teeth) and stopped us from sleeping. Our room (amber) had a small window and we needed to keep light on all the time. There was also some kind of office outside the window where people would gather and talk fairly loudly till late at night. This further disturbed our sleep. Location just outside city walls in Lucca is good. Nice cafe and a good supermarket nearby.

accueil sympa. Chambre très spacieuse avec une petite veranda et un coin ktchnette non prevue. Par contre la veranda n etait pas complètementement couverte, il manque un bout de toiture, or il faut passer par là pour rejoindre la salle de bain. Donc il fait un peu froid quand on sort de la douche.
