Norbury Apart Hotel - London

We are a family of 5 (two adults, 3 kids - 15, 12, 7) and stayed at the Norbury ApartHotel for 7 nights. We had two rooms, both with fridge, shower, WC and WIFI. The hotel seems to be a normal house that was remodeled to have a number of rooms and a common area (used for breakfast or other meals). The kitchen can be used by all guests, cleaning of parts (pans, pots etc.)used in the kitchen as well as all dishes is expected to be done by the guests - worked for us and reminded us of some youth hostels! Norbury station is less than 5 min away by foot. Trains to and from London (Victoria and London bridge) go about every 10-15 min during the day. The last train back to Norbury arrives around midnight (please check for yourself!). You’ll need a zone 1-3 ticket. There is also a bus station near the house. You can hear traffic in the rooms facing the streets, but this was not too bad. Rooms were cleaned daily, towels exchanged every other day. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall we would recommend this place to young couples, families with children and everybody who is on a limited budget and who would survive in a youth hostel.
