We spent one night in the Palms Hotel. Though it was a bit tricky for the taxi driver to find it, we were finally very satisfied. The hotel is located not too far from the main coastal road. The location is not directly in the touristic centre, but you can reach everything (shops, restaurants, car rental companies and sandy beaches) with a short walk (10 mins). The room for two was spacious and clean. Equipments in the kitchen worked well, though there were not too many pans and pots, so better prepare yourself in advance, in case you would like to cook something. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing. Very kind and helpful and there was always a friendly atmosphere. All in all this is a good value for money hotel. We would be happy to return.

The room was clean, we did however see the occasional ant. The Staff was wonderful, and very knowledgeable of the area. Great help for directions. Altho this hotel is only a few blocks off the beach road, walking back to the hotel at night is a bit sketchy, with that said we did not have any problems. Great value for money.

Hotel is several blocks from main road along coast. Property is not well maintained. Faucets and handles and other things were loose. This is an apt hotel and there are not fresh towels every day. There was a big TV but not many channels available. One local channel had news in English in the AM, and tv in lobby had Sky News at night (but too British). There was a very small pool. Neighborhood is residential and not well maintained. There were piles of trash here and there and broken up sidewalks. There were lots of restaurants and cafes a few blocks away on the main road, including Starbucks and KFC. There is a bus downtown for 1 euro (2 euro for a day pass) and it runs about every 15-20 minutes, but can get very crowded.
